Spanish reports claim Real Madrid have decided to offer Manchester United a world-record £100million for Cristiano Ronaldo.

It is believed Real told United last summer they would pay up to 120million euros for the Portuguese star.

The Red Devils made it quite clear they had no plans to sell Ronaldo - but the wonderful form of player, which has seen him score nearly 40 goals this season, will prompt a new bid.

Real have made little secret of their desire to lure Ronaldo to the Spanish capital and now La Sexta is claiming that an incredible £100million bid is imminent.

United didn't want to sell him at that price, but obviously his "wonderful form" has changed their minds.

 That is so unreal! And even if true I don't think Manure is gonna accept it, unless the Glazers just shoves the decision down SAFs throat bc of the fantasy amount of money..

If they accepted over SAF's head I wouldn't be suprised if he walked out. Ronaldo's his new boytoy.

It's probably not true. But even if its half that thats silly money, it really is rediculous the amount of monet that gets thrown around for such insignificant things as footballers, when you consider the state of some of the countries around the world. The world really is a twisted place when you think about it.

To be fair, if Berbatov is worth 40 mill, then ROnaldo is worth 100 mill...

I think Man Utd would be crazy to sell Ronaldo for £100m. They don't need the money. They definitely need Ronaldo.

Why do you think the Americans are into real football instead of their silly game which they call by the same name. They'll sell if the offer was tryly 100 million; and they'll then make a quick exit.

sometimes skysports are was worse as tribalfootball

Sad but true.

PS: Real don't need Ronaldo they need a striker, a DM and a CM presence in the mould of Ballack etc.
