Give us Ozil, Ronaldo and Varane and we'll think about it for a season.
Hmmm Real gives us the three above mentioned players for free and gives us a season to think about selling Bale... It sounds nearly to good to be true, I think we should consider it though as it is a rather good deal.

It really depends on Madrid are prepared to pay 60m+

If they come in with a 30m offer then no chance.

Not they I think Levy wants to sell anyway but it will take a strong chairman to reject a 60m bid. Especially as we're trying to finance a new stadium.

Yeah but at the same time Levy will have a price in mind, he'll duly let Madrid know....and then it begins. Levy is like the fucking terminator when its gets to this stage. You know what's he like for setting strong precedents.

Selling Higuain to Arsenal would be a good way to piss off Daniel Levy, selling him to us for a cut price deal might get them some money off Bale in a few years time though. (y)
Indeed and the bolded part is most important. Scratch our back for a few seasons, RM, and you'll get slightly more favourable conditions than the other suitors. Other than that, we just have to hope Bale is different from the norm when it comes to football players otherwise DL will do what he always does, make the very best out of a bad situation.

I personally think Bale will stay with us another 2 seasons. Levy certainly will not sell him this summer.

We have to find good sponsors (inc naming rights) to fund that stadium though.

A Tottenham Hotspur with Gareth Bale is much more valuable to its sponsors than a Tottenham Hotspur without Gareth Bale.

If we have to rip apart our teams to turn a profit, we will never get where we want to be.

The more pressure and desperation RM are under to sign Bale, will make it easier for us to bump up the price and hold them to ransom including players in part exchange.

I personally think Bale will be here next year anyway and hope to keep him longer, but accept that one day he may be off to Spain. If we do have to let him go we need to make sure it is for the highest possible fee, so we can reinvest it over all areas of our squad.
He will go to Spain one day to retire.

S'funny everytime they have an election and promise to sign player X it doesn't really work out, Kaka i think would give Darren Anderton a run for his money, Michael Owen, i'm sure there are others as far as i can tell Ronaldo might be the exception.

They want to look at paying off their overdraft before buying another new car the diving pricks, La Liga a rich, sun tanned version of the SPL.

You see, this is where Mitt Romney went wrong. Should've used the Bale card.

Crazy to think we are at a point where in 2 successive summers Real Madrid could buy 2 of our players. Couldn't have seen that happening in the days of Nethercott and Kerslake.

Just a sign of how far the club has come really. Personally I think Bale actually wants to stay but the lack of CL football may be an issue. Still have to see what happens on that one. I think and hope (mainly hope) he stays. But if he goes its not the end of the world, sometimes it actually helps the team develop and evolve if they rely on a player too much and he leaves - happens at Arsenal every year they sell players and others stuff up to the plate in the following season.

I know they're Real Madrid but how arrogant is that? They hold polls on who they want. I think they're forgetting the rape they suffered in Germany from a side with hardly any spending power (compared to the top teams in Europe). They can go get fucked stupid ****s

I feel Bale would not make it at Real at least not at this point anyway.

At Real a player has to be an instant and regular success. Immense pressure.

Bale is currently operating in a fairly comfortable environment where his successes are lauded and when he has a quiet game he is not a failure.

I hope someone with influence on him helps him with making the right decision. He is still young himself. There is no doubt his agent will want him to move because of the financial reward the agent would gain.

he is too young to move a small family abroad, can see him staying with us until he is 26 / 27
I know its my heart speaking here but this is actually where I see Bale also. I honestly believe that he can stay with us 3 more years before he gets his "dream" move out somewhere. He would still have lots of years left in him to go and win league titles and CL titles.

Hell, maybe Tottenham will challenge for the title and CL in 3 years time and Bale will stay his whole career with us... ok, I will stop eating those funny looking mushrooms I found outside...
