Good article. As well as the substitution of his own player reducing the team to 10 (which is fantastically loco shock therapy), I liked this:

"Another improvised tactical decision won him the European Super Cup against Barcelona. He originally placed Renato, the central midfield player, on the right-hand side, but five minutes into the game, he decided that the space left in the hole could be used by the Brazilian. So, without having rehearsed playing in the role in training, Renato was deployed behind two strikers for the first time in his career.
"He scored two minutes after the tactical move and Seville won 3-0 that night."

So, partway through a cup final, Ramos made a huge tactical switch based on what he was seeing on the pitch. He is a fantastic game coach. And Juande has huge cojones.

Sunday could be one helluva ride, but I'm delighted Ramos is the driving seat.

Read a few other articles on the site. Some good reads. Not blowing wind up Ramos' arse but just commenting on his past and attitude. Fairly unbiased and not too sensationalised either.

I love his apparent willingness to take a risk in an attempt to make a positive impact on a game. You can see why he's done so well in do or die cup games. I believe we can beat anybody on our day with Juande in charge.
