in a 451 system the wingers dont have the same impact compared to a 442 system.

when we go away from home you have to leave certain players out. To cram SP, AL, VDV, LM all into the team and JD is crazy, that team is more suited to WHL.

Jenas has been playing pretty well this season so why not put him in, keep AL on the right and play Mods off the left wing leaving JD and PC up top. if it means VDV sits on the bench so be it. Then when we play home we can cram them all in as teams will sit off us and allow us to play.

people give me grief on here for saying so but HR proved yesterday he has not got a clue tactically cause that team he picked was all over the shop.

One shocking performance in the cup where we gave 2 pens away and were down to 10 men within 15 minutes proves he hasn't a clue tactically, but what does taking a team from bottom of the league with 2 points, yes 2 points, from 8 games into the top 7 and then top 4 the next season say about his tactical nous?

It says that HR is a great man-manager, but a poor one tactically. We all knew this when he came to Spurs. Getting off the bottom of the league, and also finishing 4th last year is all about the results of the team over the course of a year. The game yesterday was all about setting up the team in light of injuries and who is available in your squad, and also about making adjustments during the game. These are not HR's strong points.

Don't get me wrong, I like what he's done since he's been here, and we couldn't ask for anyone else to do a better job over the last 2 years. But if I'm picking a manager for 1 game, HR is not that man.

I don't think Harry is bad tactically at all really. We are clearly mentally stronger with him, conceding far fewer late goals, and doing well against the top teams. Harry's problem is getting the right players in.
