???? at the end of the headline are a bit of a giveaway.

I'm not bothered at all, in all his years as a manager what has he won?

He would be fantastic. He bought Spurs b level players and did better than we did with them.

yeah he alluded to this all the time just after turning down the Newcastle job, you heard him saying "i turned down what i believe to be a massive club to stay at pompey" (Not Newcastle)

I think he would love to have taken the job but the pressure is too much for him, he's have been a twitching (see face) jibbering mess after a couple of months

It was strongly (and probably correctly) rumoured that his pal Kemsley was very keen on bringing him in, but I've never seen any suggestion that we made him an offer—which doesn't mean that we didn't.

It would have been bye-bye Comolli, as Twitchy would have wanted full control over transfers, and we'd have had to bring in coaches, as he hasn't done any coaching in years. We'd also have had the cops all over the Lane.

the ONLY thing i would think of as a positive is what would he be able to achieve as a manager, with financial backing on his side and his good array of bringing in good players.

Oh well. Its a what if scenario. One im not bothered about atall!

Glad he did, otherwise we'd be one of the major clubs in the Stevens report.

Have you seen his pad on Sandbanks? I'd turn down most clubs to carry on living there!

I've seen a few pads on Sandbanks. Fantastic place to live but he could have flown to WHL as quickly as drive to Pompey

I take this with a handful of salt myself

it's really quite annoying to hear the media saying how shrewd Redknapp is everytime he makes a forray into the transfer window, imo its just a scatter gun approach he has to unearthing his 'gems', buy enough players and you're sure to come up trumps occasionally.
only my opinion peeps!

so far Redknapp hasn't won a major trophy in what 20 years plus of management - this could change this week - then fair enough he can be seen as a successful manager-

whether we actually offered him a job - whether he would have been better than Ramos mmmmmm
