Squad: Forecast, L Butcher, Gilberto, Gunter, Dervite, Rocha, Hughton, Archibald-Henville, Mtandari, Rose, Maghoma, Livermore, Taarabt, D Hutton, Dawkins, Pekhart.

Looks like we might field a decent team, just hoping for a better game then the last week against Derby (although that won't be hard to achieve).

Strong squad. Looks like the starting line up could be: Forecast; Gunter, Dervitte, Rocha, Gilberto; Taarabt, Livermore, Rose, Maghoma; Dawkins, Pekhart.

Jake Livermore back from MK Dons? That was a quick month.

Not sure how Taarabt can be in the squad if he played yesterday????

Good to see Pekhart back - hopefully he'll finally put ina performance for me to see.

I think Rose was promoted from academy to reserves by around November time & has been a regular since. I'd only ever seen him play for Leeds & he has always looked the business, very intelligent player, great shot and cross on him & great pace. Bit like a Wright-Phillips spliced with Lennon.

Cheers, I've only seen a few clips of him. Was hoping to see more of him at the U19 tournament earlier this season but he got injured and had to drop out the squad. Maybe he'll get some games pre season.

Does anyone know if Ramos has attended a Reserve team game? I think he should, as he could do a lot worse than give a couple of these kids a go in the remaining games. I appreciate that he has given O'Hara a decent run, but why not a few more? Malbranque is ok on the left, but will never be a long-term solution there so I don't see the harm in letting Rose or Taraabt have a few games there to see what they can do

Not sure if Ramos was there, but I saw Gus arrive. It was also nice to see Bale sitting with the crowd and joking with some of the reserve squad.
It was a good game, great goal by Rose and I thought Gunter played well at rightback.
For every good bit of skill, Taarabt made at least a couple of mistakes. Got the crowd fustrated although redeemed himself by a well taken goal and setting up the 3rd.
Biggest disappointment was Pekhart, did very little until 5 minutes before he was substituted.

How did tommy play? What a claim to fame that would have been if he has saved a litmanen penalty.

How was Rocha? any better than Dawson or Kaboul?

Tommy played well, a couple of excellent saves. His distribution wasn't the best, a couple of sliced kicks when we could have broken quickly. He also has the tottenham trait of looking slightly dodgy at crosses, punched a ball clear in the first half when it would have been an easy catch. In the 2nd half he did a similar punch and was out of position and got lobbed and needed Rocha to head the goal bound ball away.

Rocha had a steady game, won lots of headers, played good possession football but did give away a silly penalty. Slightly dodgy decision but shouldn't have raised his boot to head height in the penalty box when there wasn't too much danger. I think it would be worth giving him a first team run out before we decide to sell him in the summer.

Gilberto was a bit disappointing, he got caught with the ball a few times (rather like PSV), and made an awful pass in the 2nd half which let Fulham counter attack. He didn't have a bad game, but for a Brazilian international he doesn't seem to be up to speed just yet.

glad to hear tommy is playing well. have known him since we were 6 and have always grown up training with him, through his millwall days and then onto tottenham. played in the same sunday league team and school team with him until we were 16. never thought he would have stayed at spurs as long as he has to be honest.

starting to be a little disappointed with our "stars of the future" strikers. sounds like pekhart is playing badly and dixon turned out to be a cripple.

hope rose gets a sub appearance in the first team by the end of the year.

Evening all, I've posted my report in the Front Page Columns.

Good to see a comeback go the right way for once. Fair play to the lads for carrying on fighting to the end. Special mention to David Hutton who really changed the game when he came on, and to Clive Allen for changing the formation when needed and coming up with a winning combination.

If anyone finds a pair of gloves on the pitch, please return them to Adel Taarabt ,

BOF & PaulL - thanks for your reports. Sounds like young Adel's tantrums were pretty amusing, and you even got a glimpse of him at his best at the end of the match.

I see that, as usual for the reserves, Danny Rose played most of the match in central midfield. Which is a bit surprizing for those of us who see him as a left-sided midfielder. What's his passing like in CM? Was he playing box-to-box or a more disciplined role?

Is Rose left or right footed? I'm also surprised that he has been playing cm recently. I thought he would have been groomed for the left wing position.

Woo hoo! Highlights! Nicked from FTL but it's so rare that you get to see any.

http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=f48tr6fX_bA

I have no idea how to embed a youtube clip :-(

This is what it shows:

16.34: Taarabt fed Gilberto with reverse pass, fine cross from byline that Brooks-Meade just clawed away from Maghoma.

25: 24: SAVE - FORECAST. First serious action for either keeper as Nevland played ball back for Litmanen, in space on the edge of the box, went for a curler that Forecast palmed away at full stretch.

28.29: MISS - SPURS. Taarabt tied Cumber in knots, cross from left byline stabbed towards goal by Dawkins, effort on target but deflected off Christanval into path of Maghoma, must have been three yards out but somehow lifted ball over.

37.12: CLOSE - FULHAM. Elliott screamer from 20 yards flew inches wide.

39.45: PENALTY - FULHAM. Bit harsh. Litmanen headed into the box, Nevland went to power header at goal, Rocha challenged and the pair met at the same time - referee pointed to the spot.

40.31: GOAL - FULHAM. Litmanen tucked away the penalty.
Spurs 0, Fulham 1

Second Half

45.58: SAVE - BROOKS-MEADE. Pekhart found Taarabt in space, left side of goal, low curler blocked by Brooks-Meade at near post.

69.44: SAVE - FORECAST. Seol cut in from right, squared to Milson who hit piledriver that appeared to take slight deflection, Forecast managed to turn over.

63.18: Superb cross whipped in by Gunter from the right, Christanval there to flick away from Dawkins.

80.30: GOAL - SPURS. Taarabt sent Hutton away down the right, fine cross on the run from the byline found Dawkins going in with Brooks-Meade, ball ballooned up in the air and Rose watched all the way to overhead kick back into the top corner from six yards.

Spurs 1, Fulham 1
85.40: MISS - SPURS. Taarabt took short corner from Rose, cross from right bobbled about and eventually fell at feet of Dawkins inside six-yard box, sliced wide.

Added time: GOAL - SPURS. Deserve it! Rocha drove the ball forward, Taarabt controlled and was able to turn and run at Leijer, got to the edge of the box, shifted to his right foot and drove low across Brooks-Meade into the bottom corner.
Spurs 2, Fulham 1

Added time: GOAL - SPURS. Seconds left and Livermore burst through the middle to go one-on-one with Brooks-Meade, keeper saved the chance only for the ball to fall at the feet of the delighted Dawkins who tapped into an empty net.
Spurs 3, Fulham 1

Taarabt did play then. That's a bit odd, isn't it? Playing a reserve match just a day after coming on as a sub for the full team.

Shame we cant get highlights like that for all the reserve games.

Taarabt took his goal well I thought. Surely he should get a chance in the 1st team soon.
