If there is a last minute panic signing from us then I think it will be this guy. He wants out, Leicester don't seem that bothered if he stays or not etc.

Expensive though obviously.

I would absolutely love this fella at Spurs, got exactly what we need, pace, trickery and deffo the X factor we are missing, gets slated for lack of tracking back but the year they won the league he was fantastic on all fronts, would welcome with open arms, doubt it'll happen though!!

Said all along that this has transfer deadline day panic buy all over it, if no one else has bought him by then and he still wants out. He'd be a damn sight better than most of our deadline day panic buys though as he clearly has the ability, it's just whether he's prepared to put the work in to become a true Pochettino player. Currently it's his defensive work rate that makes him a questionable fit for our system.

30 mill plus sissoko could be worth a punt? Him, Barkley, Pereira and King would be excellent depth to add to the team.

The £50M Leicester are asking for Mahrez sounds an awful lot but Levy will structure it as £20M in performance related payments and the rest in Sissokos .

We were strongly interested in him prior to him having the title winning season in which he exploded, weren't we?

Having said that, I can certainly see him at Arsenal. They will fail to sign Lemar and Mbappe and they will move for Mahrez late in the window I reckon.

The guy is a match winner and I have no doubt that Poch could get him focused.

100% agree. As for the poster below, how on earth would this be a 'panic buy' if we signed him on the last day that wouldn't be a panic buy as he's a bloody good player.

If he puts the effort in, he's exactly what our side is missing in the final 3rd.
The West Ham away game springs to mind when they parked the bus, sons pace didn't work dele and Harry didn't have a sniff, Janssen came on to no effect. We needed someone who was a bit unpredictable with some pace and trickery and the same could be said for our CL games, we were a bit predictable. Would prefer him over Barkley,

Would be a risky signing. Expensive, has had an up and down career and doesn't show the work rate Poch's system asks for.

But the ability clearly is there and if Poch can get him focused and at his best would be a great signing.

Monitoring this player or that player, interested in this player or that player, keeping an eye on this player or that player.

We're the football club equivalent of a peeping tom.

It's a no from me, showed last season that when the chips are down, he's no where to be seen

The reason I described it as a panic buy is that it appears he's only an option if we fail to sign our other targets and he's not snapped up by someone else first. If he was a genuine priority then we'd be in dialogue with Leicester about it now, wouldn't we?

Like I said, he has ability so he'd still be better than our recent deadline day attempts.
