Was just day-deaming the other day about how great it would have been if we'd signed Ronaldo! I know you could say the same about dozens of players (ahhh... Zidane!)
but oh my god! What a source of goals from midfield!
Like having Gazza back, but with even more goals!

Now I'm thinking... who was the last half-decent source of goals from midfield for us? And I mean 10 league goals per season as standard... anyone since Gascoigne?

Ronaldo is everything I HATE in a footballer......He is a cheating scum, he is a smug knobhead who needs a slap and yet he "deserves" prizes?

I want Robbie to win the prize, break out the top 4 shaggathon!

Ronaldo maybe all that but he is also the best player in the world at the mo.
I dont really like UTD and work with a Liverpool supporter who obviously HATES them and even he has to admit Ronaldo is a diff class.

If Man Utd did not have Ronaldo, they would not be where they are in the title race.

I am actually gonna go as far to say that minus Ronaldo (and glimpses of Nani), Utd are not looking that great at all.

Keano would win it if he played for a top four club. Ronaldo's got it in the bag because he plays for fucking United.

You seem to have overestimated Keane's abilities and achievement. Step and check reality. He would not get a sniff in the top four, and I would go further and say five as I dont think Everton would want him either.

If Ronaldo doesnt get it, there are a few who still be ahead of Keane for this accolade. Even just putting Spurs players alone, Keane would still struggle to win. And dont give me crap about him scoring goals, thats what he is paid to do!

There's only one Keano (if you don't count Roy of course) and brilliant an all that he has been for Spurs, there can be only one highlander and that has to be Ronaldo. Without him United would be up the creak. Mind you Spurs would be up the creak without Keano but Ronaldo must be the best player in the world at the moment.

That Keane actually outscored Ronaldo in 2007 shows how good Keane has been.

Ronaldo will win and probably does deserve it, just for playing for Man United alone. Keane won't get near it, how often do you see him get any praise? If he was English he might have a chance.

1 player does not put you top of the prem league. I am not saying they have nt counted on him for goals this year as they have, but Rooney and Tevez both have had good seasons.

I think Pele or Maradonna might think differently and I've seen nothing yet from Ronaldo to put him up with the greatest of all time.

When Ronaldo singlehandedly wins a world cup for Portugal like Maradonna did with an ordinary Argentina side get back to me. :wink:

He is the best player UTD have had for years, better than Beckham, better than Cantona (by miles!).

Ronaldo would get into any team in the world and is still only 23 years old.
