Ronaldo can not be classed the best player in the world until he produces those stand out performances on the biggest stage ie Champions League also against the top 6 Premier clubs.

no guess to what team you wil be supporting in the euros!?

those pussies

any need for that?

Ronaldo will win, he is the best in the world at the moment, and will be for some time probably.

So if Berbatov were to win player of the year this season (he wont) would it all be a lie because we didnt win the league? no

players outside the "top 4" don't win awards...

remember, it's grand slam sunday this weekend...

why the hell other football teams bother turning up is beyond me

I think Ronaldo won both awards last season including the Young PFA award ?? I think Robbie's got to be in with a shout.
Come on be real. Robbie would be hard pushed to win it at Spurs much less the rest of the league. You seem to have a very high but unrealistic regard of Robbie's performances this season.

There's only one Keano (if you don't count Roy of course) and brilliant an all that he has been for Spurs, there can be only one highlander and that has to be Ronaldo. Without him United would be up the creak. Mind you Spurs would be up the creak without Keano but Ronaldo must be the best player in the world at the moment.

That Keane actually outscored Ronaldo in 2007 shows how good Keane has been.

Keano would win it if he played for a top four club. Ronaldo's got it in the bag because he plays for fucking United.

I think Ronaldo will be the greatest player of all time. And I also think that Keane has about as much chance playing for England then winning the award this season.

I think Pele or Maradonna might think differently and I've seen nothing yet from Ronaldo to put him up with the greatest of all time.

When Ronaldo singlehandedly wins a world cup for Portugal like Maradonna did with an ordinary Argentina side get back to me.

Why would Keane possibly be in front of Berbatov. Ask the rest of the teams supporters who has impressed them this season and I feel Berbatov would be the name put forward. A week ago Keane was not even in front of Malbranque or Berbatov. This is rubbish.

Ronaldo is everything I HATE in a footballer......He is a cheating scum, he is a smug knobhead who needs a slap and yet he "deserves" prizes?

I want Robbie to win the prize, break out the top 4 shaggathon!

Ronaldo deserves it, he's world class. It'd be nice if Keano could get into the top three though.

Who, me? I won't be supporting anyone in the Euros. Just hope for entertaining football, and as Ronaldo plays for Portugal, I'll certainly try and see a lot of their games as he's one if, if not the most, entertaining footballers.

Considering they are the same age it makes you wonder why it isn't Keane being touted around for 25-30 million plus and not Berbatov really?

George Best never even played in a WC and he is considered in conversations about "best ever" - so thats an irrelevant statement whoever made it..

Ronaldo is hands down the best player in the premiership and deserves the award...among all the other things he does did anyone else see the free kick against Pompey? Not many players past or present can hit a ball like that...

Keano is a magnificent player for us and has scored some crackers this year, he maybe considered top 5, easily top 10, but PFA player of the year?? sadly not im afraid

Nothing to do with the fact that he is the best player in the world at the minute and is outscoring Robbie and everyone else from midfield?
