Must say theres a few reports circulating around the spanish sites over the news of us about to conclude the deal. I think there all the same content as the one posted earlier but nethertheless its better then bad news.

Does anyone else think Soldado is a bit like a VDV who is big and strong enough to play striker? Or am I just unable to get over my VDV mancrush?

Ha ha. It is all over the Spanish media sources now but all originating from the EFE source. Hopefully there will be a few more details after the game. I am watching it but don't understand a word of the commentary. Not entirely relevant (sorry A and C) but I would take Banega in a heartbeat. Lets get a double deal sorted! I will save my love for Banega for a different thread

It's got to the point that even when the ITK's do post they're being questioned like mad or completely dismissed now, the problem is I wouldnt know what the solution to solve that would be other than a dose of maturity/sensibleness but I think that is beyond the discussion of Soldado at this point haha

Very different type if player in my opinion. The share two traits though. Soldado is an intelligent footballer, and shares the ability to pop up in the right place at the right time.

If I was to compare him with one of our former players though it would be Klinsmann.

Because the positve stories - in this case - add uo with all the other indications surrounding this move

I was working the same figures.

We shouldn't underestimate Chadli; he has an eye for goal and a lethal right foot.

The 20 goals for Gareth as well is being harsh given he is likely to improve and he got more than that last season.
