Literally he makes every goal look sexy.

Valencia are my spanish team and have seen a fair bit of Soldier boy - he is a Berbatov player in that he makes finishes look so easy and nonchalant - thats not to say that he moves like Berba or holds it up as well. Berba looked lazy whilst Soldado is a bit more busy.

Tweets in Bale thread from someone who randomly ran into an accountant on the train today, and this guy also said:

"It'll get done. Everything is checked to its exact detail due to the state of the Spanish economy" 2/2

He's getting off in 2 stops. Asked him about Soldado "Bank being fussy over clearing payments in euro due to its potential crash. 1/2

My five cents about Roberto:

He's exactly what we need. It's not just about his goalscoring abilities, it's also about his character. He never gives up, always keeps fighting and doesn't stop running. How many times we lost/drew our games just because the other team put more effort to fight? How many times Bale saved us in games where we didn't fight for the points? Roberto is commited and he will guarantee us that he will put a shift week in, week out. That's also one of the reasons why I believe that he won't be a flop - high work rate and willingness to take on defenders.

I`m glad someone else had noticed this, Soldado has a phenomenal workrate akin to Suarez.

Interesting how none of us smart alecs never thought that the Spanish economy being in the toilet would stall this transfer.

I'm glad he keeps training! When he does join (and i'm confident he will) we need him training with the first team straight away, not taking a couple of weeks to get up to match fitness.

If it's light training again I see no problem, he's just keeping himself in shape as the medicals can be very strenuous

Keep posting drivel people, don't let me down :pompous:

A&C, (our honoured leader) please can you explain why would lock the thread. Surely its all talk that is loosely related to Soldado and where better to do that than the Soldado thread

You will send them all to the ITK thread if you lock this one!!

Shut it, you slag ;)

I'll lock that too. I'm a ****. I have previous.

But you give me pause for thought................*Pauses for a nanosecond.

Nah, i'm locking it. 300-odd pages is enough, until we sign him it's all pretty much been said and we're going around in circles.

Of course, if we were to get a few donations.............Well, that might sweeten me :)

If Tottenham waits until after 3rd of August, Valencia will refuse to negotiate. Means price will rice to an estimated €46m #vcfnordic

I cant see there being a problem, City just spunked the guts of 40mil on Navas and Negredo, just waiting for it to clear and the then we're good to go. Its beyond tedious now though.
