Honestly, I wouldn't put it past him to score 23+ goals in the league for us. So long as he stays healthy, he's going to get a ton of opportunities to score.

Part of me was sceptical about this "Former Valencia director's" Twitter account being legit, especially after he said "Tomorrow Soldado will officially become a Spurs player" - until I checked the official Valencia Twitter page to see that it's following his account. I am this close to putting him on my fifa team but aint gonna jinx it no way. Did it with benteke and villa and that turned out horrible.

Have never done that ever since I did once with Diego Capel in 2008.

There's definitely a chance. The banner's still up. We've been burned before. Let's just hold out hope and panic if he gets on the flight on Thursday. We've still got a little over a day to get this sorted in my mind. But, it's looking promising for tomorrow.

I'd love to see a young striker brought on but one that can function out wide right now. Rodrigo would be fantastic. If we brought him on, he could replace Townsend as far as I'm concerned. He's a better prospect and if Breezer's source was right and AVB has all over Townsend in training, maybe they look to move him on if a good deal comes around. Of course you have to worry about losing another home grown player.

Rodrigo would be a really good option moving forward. He's got experience on some big stages, he can play as a lone striker our out wide and he's left-footed so he could conceivably learn behind Bale. I'm a huge fan of his and I think as he ages he will become more like Higuain.

That's not good enough for me. He thinks Bale will go. I can't have him being right about soldado as he might be right about bale.

His knowledge is the Spanish side though. So he can know from Valencia or even Soldado that it's done. He's guessing on our business. Or more to the point, he's getting his info from Madrid, who are full of shit

I loved the look of him when I've seen him play but surely Benfica see him as a huge young prospect; they are unlikely to sell for less than £15 million or so?

I think the Baldini 'youngsters' that ITK have alluded too are likely to be more left field a la Vlad.

I think someone mentioned earlier that this is probably a Baldini signing and none of the existing ITK have links to Baldini. It could be a while before anybody gets established from Baldini camp, if they do at all. And so it makes sense that this came out of Italy if that's the case.

Or at least that makes a bit of sense to me.
