I'm sad to see him go. I don't think we've ever supported a player as much as him. Two years of singing his name and giving him encouragement. I don't think we ever really played to his strengths, and to see his confidence drain away was quite moving.
I hope he finds his form at Villarreal and starts sticking away some chances. I don't like player bashing, if they wear a Spurs shirt, they need love and support from us, and that's what we do extremely well I think, I'm proud of that (y)

Been one of Bobby's staunchest supporters and think it just comes down to the fact I can't remember being so excited by a signing since the days of Klinsman & Ginola. Thought he was going to do really big things for us and really gutted it didn't work out, both for him and us.

Edit: Oh and VDV... that was an incredible night!

Felt he always gave 100% effort for the team, even when things weren't working for him.

I'll miss him, but unfortunately, not for the reasons we bought him. Good luck to the guy, hope it works out for him back in Spain

All the Beatles now gone apart from the 3 that can sing...sometimes

Shame it didn't work out for Bobby. Had the skill, vision, movement and strength for the league I think just probably the wrong team, our avb/poch style doesn't suit.

Might have killed it under redknapp with Lennon and bale on the wing and vdv behind him or along side crouch

Mate, just.... no.
Look at the service he's had and still missed. It's got nothing to do with his team mates or managers or even the league. He just lost it.

Wish him well at his new club but certainly not sad he's leaving like some seem to be. I'm delighted a player who doesn't and never will perform or work out for us is leaving. Nothing against Bobby as a person because he seems like a sound guy but as a player I'm chuffed we're getting rid of him.

Not played to his strengths?
Look at my video (I didn't make it) he's had the ball at his feet with the goal at his mercy plenty of times. What are his strengths if he can't score a simple tap in?

Because of that cock up by Soldado (and slightly by Chadli) against Fiorentina, what gets forgotten is that fantastic ball by Lamela...

Because I don't argue the virtues of Lamela anywhere else ;)

You reckon all strikers in the Premier League haven't missed 7 chances (and one penalty) in the last 2 years? That's all that video shows mate.
