Really don't know what my views are on Soldado.

Ultimately, he was the only of our signings from last year who can really be said to have been a flop. Most of the others had a few good games or were so injured that it's impossible to tell. Soldado had games, he had chances and he just didn't take them.

He also doesn't look suited to playing in any of the formations that we adopt, and I can't really see him playing the 'Ricky Lambert' role under Poch.

But there's still part of me that just thinks he could be amazing for us and that we just need to play to his strengths.

*sigh*

I'm so confused.

Last summer I upset a few people when we were after David Villa, I said I was underwhelmed by him as I was any Spanish strikers and I said that Villa would not be the player everybody thinks he is if he came to the Prem.
I always thought Torres was the best of them and he did well when he came but lets be honest hasn't been worth his wages for the last three or four years has he.
Soldado I had never really heard of but at least he had scored a hatfull of goals the previous season and everyone was so excited about him that I was hopeful, sadly though, I am still not sure the prem is for him, I'd love to see him stay and prosper but it may be best all round if he took an opportunity to return to Spain and if it's Atletico then I'd feel we would have done right by him.

If we can get good money for him and have a chance of getting another good striker i would send him home especially if he is not happy in the UK.

As much as I want him to, I don't think RS9 will cut it here. It's also worth noting we won't deal with the chavs and they won't deal with us

I think everyone at Chelsea still thinks the same about Torres.

I'm the same, I really want to see him under new management in the hope that we can see the Soldado we actually paid for. Although I can't deny that if someone said that we can sell Soldado to make room for Lukaku for instance I would probably want us to do so.

I believe he can turn it around here, but wouldn't take the risk if we can sell him for good money.
With his age and a poor first season, it makes sense if we can get decent fee for him.

I think the biggest risk is to keep him. He never looked dangerous in our league. And if he needs better service, why don't we go for someone who can create on there own too, rather than have it on a plate. If we get back 20 million go and get bony. That guy is the real deal and a handful

Sometimes in business you've got to know when and where to cut your losses and this I feel is one of those occasions. I really wanted it to work for him as we've been crying out for a striker for years but for the life of me I cant see why we decided to spend £25 million on this guy. No pace, no strength, no aerial ability and due to the horrific season he's just had, no confidence.

I still think there's a player in there. He wasn't awful last season either, only when it came to actually scoring goals (which, I know, is a strikers job). Unless we can recoup most of what we paid for him I think we should keep him. Pochettino may get him firing again, who knows?

Athletico Fans have started a Social media move against buying Soldado; Looks like Soldado is not popular with Athleico fans even in his Valencia days; I guys moving him is not going be easy after all.

It is still far from an official operation, but in the offices of the Vicente Calderon and have the verdict of the fans about the possible arrival of Roberto Soldado to Manzanares. Atletico did not want to in any way.

Tottenham is one of the names that are handled in the Sports Management Atletico to strengthen the attack ahead of next season, but his past is a heavy burden for the bounds look favorably upon arrival at team Simeone.

So, yesterday a massive movement started in social networks under the tag #UnAtléticosinSoldado that became a Trending Topic, leaving see very clearly that the former player of Real Madrid, Osasuna, Getafe and Valencia would not be well received by the swollen banks of the Manzanares.

It should be recalled in this connection that Soldier was protagonsita several incidents in his past campaigns like tip of Valencia, which has not resulted in an increase in popularity in the Calderón precisely.

Read about this, something to do with a stamp on Falcao and some other incidents.

I wonder if man city fancy swapping him for negredo. He has majorly gone off the boil in Manchester after a good start and I think they'd be prepared to cut their loses. He'd be a much better fit for us and I think Soldado would do a lot better in Man city's team than he does for us. His movement is good and would work well with their much more fluid attacking style.

Shame swaps never happen.

JJ's ITK hinting that Roberto Soldado could be moved on...

Hard to argue with that.
