Robinson Penalty Saves

I asked the question in another thread 'has Robinson ever saved penalties?' I have tried to find out if he has and apart from the one in the shoot out the other night I have only been able to find 3 others - 2 in a penalty shoot out for leeds against swindon in a league cup game. and one against portugal in a world cup shoot out.

Can anyone come up with any more penalties saved and prove me wrong when I say that Robbo is crap at saving penalties?

That's not what I'm saying - we lost as a result of some fantastic (if a little unorthadox at times) keeping from Gomes, some unlucky and some poor finishing and a couple of poor penalties by Jenas and Chimbonda.

I was just making a point that I couldn't remember Robbo saving that many penalties (how many have we got so far? 5 all together in a 10 year career - hardly impressive so far :wink:

If you check the Telegraph stats, which cover the past three seasons, Green is the penalty king this season, and Friedel has the best record overall. Robbo has one, the same as Reina and VdS. Cech has made none, but I don't know how many penalties he's had to face.

Really, it's a bit of an irrelevance, and on the whole the ones that do get saved are the crap ones.

Yea the ref gave them everything and that penalty they scored was a bollocks desicion.

Some keepers just have more luck than others when it comes to pens. Robbo has NO luck.
