Roller Coaster Ride of a Season

I thought Panto season was only around Xmas time and not all season?

What a ride we have had this season, and we have kept our tag as one of the games entertainers - here's the tale of the tape:

11th August - Last minute winner from Chopra sees us lose our opening game of the season.

18th August - 4-0 drubbing of Derby gets us our first points.

1st September - We throw away a 2 goal lead and a last minute goal from Kamara earns Fulham a point - 3-3.

15th September - Hammered by the scum at home 3-1, gulf in class.

20th September - Bounce back with a 6-1 victory over fannygusha!!

1st October - Last minute Kaboul strike earns us an amazing point coming back from 4-1 down.

7th October - Torres' last minute header (Chimbonda switching off again!) earns Liverpool a non deserved point at Anfield.

25th October - Lose to Getafe at home, Jol gets sacked!!!!!!

28th October - Last minute Samba goal wins it at the Lane for Blackburn.

11th November - Smash Wigan 4-0.

25th November - Defoe misses last minute penalty against West Ham away for the points! 1-1.

2nd December - Poor performance sees Larsson wonder strike (yep, you guessed it, last minute!) earn a 3-2 victory for the Brum at the Lane.

9th December - Late Defoe goal seals a 2-1 win against City at the Lane.

26th December - Boxing Day, and Fulham got Knocked Out 5-1!!!

29th December - It was THAT game - we took the points after a thrilling 6-4 victory over Reading.

22nd January - We beat the scum 5-1, we beat the scum 5-1 - memorable night!

2nd February - Last minute Tevez (or was it a Dawson own goal) breaks our hearts as United nick a point at the Lane.

24th February - WemBERley - Woody gets his first Spurs goal in extra time and seals our first piece of silverware for 9 years, and back in Europe again!! We beat the scum 2-1.

1st March - Carling Cup Final hangover, thumped 4-1 by Brum away.

9th March - Ha ha ha, lets all laugh at West Ham, lets all laugh at West Ham, ha ha ha!! Smash the muppets 4-0 at the Lane.

12th March - Heartbreak as we lose on Pens and slip out of the UEFA cup after playing so well.

19th March - WOW!! Spurs 4 Chealsea 4, another late strike and an even later chance to win it after coming back from 3-1 down.


Want the good news? There's still 8 games left!!!!!!

My doctor has advised me to stop going to Spurs.

That's ridiculous. The number of goals we've seen this season is outrageous.

I said to TSH and jimbo before kick off that we need to keep our average of 4 goals at WHL up. I didn't expect us to double that. The strange thing is, we all walked out of the ground and felt like we should have won! What ungrateful so-and-sos we are. :-D

Rollercoaster is the only word to describe it.
