If we are looking for another defensive midfield, and by another i mean Jenas and Modric are playing DM at the moment, i dont understand why Jenas was made vice captain?
Certainly that means he is one of the first names on the block?

And for the Pacluchenko/arshavin up front i love it. They certainly made plenty of problems for good defences in the EC!

I'm not at all over-excited by this news. He's a decent striker, but nothing special, in my opinion. That said, I've only watched him at the EURO's, but he looked like he needed quite a few chances before he got on the score-sheet.

Mate I know it doesn't happen often but I get the feeling this will be a double announcement, we might not hear anything for a few days if we are still finalizing the Arshavin deal. Levy knows good publicity when he see's it, if he's in for both Russians this week he will hold the announcement til both are done i'm sure of it.
