Christian Eriksen:

"I was so excited to hear that Frank De Boer could be at Tottenham next season, especially considering the hell we've been going through since December. I have several fond memories of Frank's style at Ajax, and I am confident that he will bring the same level of success in time at Tottenham. Unlike some people in charge, he knows what a 4-3-3 is and doesn't always resort to long-ball 4-4-2 when he runs out of ideas." The Dane continued "I know it is very difficult to see a manager go, but with Tim it's not a problem as he's not a manager so he will be very happy as will all of us be. Well maybe not Ade, Nabil or Aaron but who knows - maybe they go with him? Either way, at least I don't have to fake it in interviews anymore".

Darn....I almost fell for it, brother.
You had me going there for a sec.
Until the sentence that starts "Unlike some people in charge......"
Good one, m8. (y)

The more I read, the more I think this could well happen. All the quotes are pointing in the right direction. If so, we may get our Vertonghen back, the one that was in the PL team of the year, not our current one.
Interesting to see which of his coaches he brings, and if he retains any of ours.

As nice as it is to have former players as coaches I would let Frank over hall the whole lot, keep a loyal few with promise but it's the new bosses show.

I know Ajax has been hauling ass over there in the Netherlands, but is anyone else concerned about the weakness of that league? Heck the media coverage is almost non-existent. I'm all for a new manager, but maybe, just maybe, the BPL may just be a little to much for Frank? I'm not against him being given the reigns at the lane. Its just a dynamic that hasn't been touched on.

I guess if his brother/colleague is prepared to discuss it so openly, there must be some serious chat going on.

I just hope that if he comes he is given the time and space by board and fans to get the job done.
