the next itk could be

Valdez
Hutton - Puyol - Woodgate - Bale
Jenas - Toure
Modric -------- Dico ---- Ronaldenio
Eto'o

just can't believe we are going to sign both of Ronaldenio and Eto'o .. it's easy as some people think.

I think a lot of ITK's do genuinely have contacts within the club or connected to it, but a lot of the time they get fed bullshit on purpose, be it as a smokescreen or other reasons.

certainly there are people who are ITK at the club that get fed certain info for identification purposes. but realistically there are maybe 10/15 people throughout the club who know for absolute definite that a player is signing, these people will always be involved when as part of their job or incoming players needs they need to be advised, its not simply a case of visit the lodge/ground then sign on the dotted line and bobs your uncle you play the next day i.e translators (insist use our own), accomadation advisors, things wanted are sometimes so far off the planet it makes ya brain boggle but have to be found.

We have more chance of signing RONALDENIO than RONALDINHO

Well Barca did say a while back that Ronaldinho could go for a cut price £10 million, now a straight swap of Berbs for the two of them could be a possibility if Barca are willing to play ball.

thing is, Ronaldinho is 28, if he was the wrong side of 30 I'd probably agree, but unless he has a really serious injury condition (King) can a player of his quality seriously be 'past it'? or is it a case of he needs a change of scene, a strict diet/lifestyle and a new challenge?

If it's the latter Tottenham could be the right place for him. But I still stand by the notion that the morning I wake up to a pig flying past my window is the day Ronaldinho signs for us... shame though, for us and for him.

But would London be a good change of scene for someone like Ron? I could see him going Gazza with London on his doorstep...

Apart from Bent (and that was someone who actually knew him or his family), when has an ITK ever been correct about an ongoing transfer dealing?

Genuine question, because i can't remember it happening. No-one guessed Woody, Modric or Hutton (before the on/off saga) and i always get the feeling Spurs try their best to do these deals on the quiet.

So can anyone reassure me that any ITK has been correct about transfer dealings before the papers have got hold of them. For the record, i'd fucking love it if he came, but it's not gonna happen is it. I've never wanted to be proved wrong so much.

Well, last summer 'Pablo' kept reminding everyone that he had been the first to reveal that Jamie Redknapp was joining us. Of course, he probably got that from an early edition of another paper.

No, in a word, or not in a long while. BOF is the authority on this sort of stuff, but he seems to have taken a sabbatical.

OK, Ronnie priced at 10 million and Eto'o at 27 million. We price Berbatov at 35 million. So Berba plus 2 million in return for Ronnie and Eto'o. Not a bad deal. Only their wages will kill us.

Boring Old Fan, Rup.

BTW, I did mention the Ronnie links to my brother-in-law, who's a Brazilian sports journo who has interviewed him several times. He hasn't heard anything, but thinks it's wildly improbable.

With the amount of money Barca generate i'm sure they could wave the £2 million difference if it meant they got there man

I sure can imagine Ronaldinho getting pumped up for 3rd Round Carling Cup match away against S****horpe. Yes...

Neither of them will come, they'd be fucking idiots if they did, just like Berbatov will be an idiot if he stays.

Agreed

There's a small argument to be made that one more year at Spurs wouldn't be the worst thing Berba could do, but it's only a small one.

Veloso imminent 57.

SSShhhh.... Don't tell a soul!
??

And Dinho is a better "footballer" than Ronaldo, in the sense that he is more gifted than Ronaldo, and at Ronaldo's age (infact, just last season..), was by far one of the best footballing talents to have ever lived.

And do not write off Dinho yet. Jeez. He is allowed a bad season. The entire barca squad have been playing shyte!!!

I can see Dinho going to AC, but never to England. NEVER. And especially not a team outside of the top 4.
