Fresh Roony Bardghij interview from Danish TV-station TV2... (I've translated some of it)

The young FCK player tries to shut out the many rumours.

FC Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Chelsea and Juventus.

These are just some of the clubs that have been linked with FCK profile Roony Bardghji in recent months.

The great interest is of course positive for the 18-year-old offensive player, but it can also be challenging to deal with.

He says this in a longer interview with TV 2 Sport.

- There has been a lot of talk. But I've just tried not to think too much about it and instead focus on what I can do.

Is it difficult to handle?

- It will be easy to say no. But it is not easy that there is so much talk around. It's not easy, but it's part of football. It will happen even more in the future, and you just have to get used to it, says Roony.

No stress

Despite the many rumours, Roony can still be found in FC Copenhagen.

And although he dreams of moving on to a major league at some point, he is by no means tired of the situation.

- There are not many games left. Whether it's now or this summer, I don't stress about it. I can finish the season by winning the league. Then I have three league titles in three years. That is not bad.

A Danish championship with FCK is the goal in the short term. But what about the long one?

- My goal is to become the best in the world. That has always been my goal. This is what I work hard for.

- I want to play in big clubs and in the Champions League again next year, he says.

"He's one of the 18-year-olds I've played with who is the best mentally"

Worth a read but after all that he didn’t start tonight

Still doesn't start that often in the league or CL, but the talent is certainly there. Believe he has something like 1500 minutes across 30 matches.
Wouldn't surprise me if he's being protected somewhat because of his youth as he delivers whenever he's on the pitch.

Always the possibility of physical mismanagement of young talents which perhaps is being considered for him?

What is Copenhagen's upside with doing this?

It will be 12 months left of the deal when the next transfer window comes along and this will just lower the fee.

Agreed. And such an approach may potentially also discourage other young talents to sign for them.

There's no upside as Copenhagen knows he will be gone to the highest bidder.
The more likely answer to me is the player is not performing well due to the interest he's getting, to the point that they can't put him in the team - if he's injury-free, of course.

On the bench on Friday - but came on at 46mins.
