There's no thread for him, but we have been linked to another young attacker in the mould of Bardghji by Belgian reporter Kevin Sauvage

A few days ago, we revealed to you that the young promise of Belgian football, Stanis Idumbo, active with the Ajax U21s, was of interest to numerous teams in Belgium but also in Spain and especially in England. This season, Idumbo, who was injured at the start of the season and missed seven matches, has scored three goals in eleven matches.

At the end of his contract at Ajax (which he joined in 2021), the midfielder, capable of playing on the left flank, must decide in the coming days and at this time, the most concrete path leads to the Premier League and to Tottenham more precisely. The English club offered a project spread over four years to the young player. The goal would be to integrate the professional core until the end of the season and to take stock at the end of it in order to see if the player remains in the core to find a place there or if he will be loaned next summer.

Also, the French from Monaco also surveyed our 18-year-old compatriot. The Monegasques are also under the spell of the young right-hander and are ready to sign him. But initially, the Rocher club would consider loaning him to Cercle de Bruges so that he can become more experienced. This option does not seem, at this stage, to be prioritized by the player and his family. In the meantime, on his social networks, Stanis Idumbo has deleted all his photos linking him to Ajax, proof that his choice is imminent.

Bar-da-d3i? Is he a droid from star wars?!
Right? :ROFLMAO:

A quick Google says the following though

"The symbol [ʒ] is usually called "ezh" [ɛʒ] (but also sometimes "yogh"). It was often used in Old Irish and Old English manuscripts. The [ʒ] sound is one of the least common consonants in English. English spelling has no specific way to spell this sound, but some uses of s, z, and g really represent a [ʒ]."

And that is the exact noise also coming out from his camp, that he's prioritising playing time and thus finding the best place to play regularly and develop further, rather than the largest pay-packet currently on offer. In that regard he favours a move to a smaller club on the continent. Wise choice really.
Thanks for your insights of Danish football, mate. From our point of view a Pape Sarr deal could be an option? We buy him now and loan him back for a season or two to further develop?

On a general note, that´s probably what we should do more often. Get young talents, and let them mature elsewhere until they are ready for the English scene.

Well, Lange left FCK for Aston Villa the same month Roony signed from Malmø FF (july 2020), so it's unclear how much of an impact he had on that. Roony's recently changed agent to CAA Base though, that is true.

One rumour doing the rounds here in Copenhagen is that he is really 21 and not 18 years old. His official age is just what was reported by his father upon entering Sweden as an immigrant, and not from an official COB. This is supposedly also why FCK somewhat surprisingly refused to release him for a youth international tournament with Sweden, where wrist-scanning where to be used to control age compliance.

While this is all speculation and unconfirmed rumours, it's obvious why FCK would like his age to stay as low as possible, since his potential sale price as an 18-year old at his current level and expected potential would be considerably higher than as an 21-year old.

No matter the above he's obviously a very talented player, but far from the finished article and is often subbed. In 17 games in the Danish league this season, he's only played a total of 939 minutes. Started 14 and subbed on in 3.

So he'll be 22 when's he's 18?

I’m like 6 margaritas deep and have a lot to say about this chap so will write a proper write up tomorrow once I’m sober. In the interim I think there’s a lot truth in this because of the Lange link and I think he’s a Base client but I could be wrong on that and could just be drunk.

Edit- he is a base client.
must admit mate, 6 margaritas deep, that was a very well typed post, bravo :)

I have seen him a few times for FCK here. Games I went he was ok but didnt stand out much for me. But then this season he has certainly turned it on in big games.

Him vs Nuamah (who went to Lyon in summer) - thought Nuamah would have the better career. But then , Nuamah hasnt done that well this season in a poor Lyon. Of late, he has been playing really well in Lyon's resurrgence but not much output on goals / assists front

Roony -lets see. If we get him, I wont be expecting much straight away - he certainly has a sweet left foot when he strikes the ball

He's a promising player and I wouldn't mind him playing for Spurs. But I can't see us spending the amount of money that Copenhagen wants.

Speaking of swedish players, we should have signed Viktor Gyökeres before he went to Sporting. A very underrated player and I actually rate him higher than Alexander Isak. If Isak doesn't score, he doesn't offer much in terms of helping the team. But Gyökeres is a pain in the ass for the opponents even if he doesn't score. Always on the move, strong, an underrated dribbler and a team player. He dominated vs Porto a couple of days ago with a goal, an assist and four completed dribbles. I know, its off topic. But I would be really disappointed if Arsenal or Chelsea signed him.

About a Sarr type buy-and-loan-back, I’m not so sure FCK would prioritise his playing time if he was already sold permanently. He isn’t indispensable to them as his playing stats show, and they have some pretty good talents coming through these years.

Højlund, who United payed 72 mil. £ for this summer left FCK for Sturm Graz only 2 years ago after failing to break into the first team.

He is raw. Very raw. Saw him against Bayern and Galasatary. It is a no from me
He's only 18, isn't he?
He wouldn't be coming for first team minutes but may well make a decent addition to the academy.
We can't be turning out noses up at raw youngsters, then complain when the likes of Brighton bag them and sell them on at a massive profit a couple of years later.

If we're expecting to sign the finished product at 18, we may as well give up now.
