Very possible that we will lose but isn't it great to know beforehand that every player on the pitch will give everything he's got? Losing is nowhere near as bad when you know it bothers the players even more.

This is why we should keep Townsend and give Carroll a shot in pre season. Not all of our youth players will be as good as Kane and Bentaleb but all of them together might become better than the sum of their parts. If we disrupt all this good work by getting on their backs or selling them off, we might cause a disturbance in the force.

Might it be worth bringing Caulker back if QPR go down? It's hard to tell how good he can be when he's been in such a poor team and is probably having to do the work of two men depending who he's playing with at the back. He's still only 24 I think and he's captained their side so must still be well thought of.
