My guess is more likely he got a kick up the backside from their recruitment and gm department when he said Barkley was 100% going driving down Barkley's price and upping Gylfi's.

Of the uninspiring list of players linked to us this summer Barkley is one of the players I'd love at the club.
This isn't going to happen is it, to really add to the feelgood factor at present.
