Can't see how any of this accelerates Levy's thinking with regards to Barkley. By all accounts he has his heart set on Spurs, he will come when he comes.

What's the odds Levy been pissing off Everton so bad this summer they try push Barkley towards Chelsea you reckon?

I would agree if Everton weren't absolutely in a terrible position over this.

They need to sell him for financial balancing reasons given transfer acquisitions to date and proposed Siggy and he's in his last year of contract. For me there is no endgame where he is still an Everton player at the end of this window.

We're led to believe the player wants us and wants to play - he stands far better opportunity of doing that with us than Chelsea (and surely he knows that). Would he rather rot at Everton and then go wherever he wants the following year (Everton surely won't allow this)? Or rot at Chelsea where he's paid handsomely but locked in playing a couple of League Cup matches.

It's a no brainer if he's a) got a modicum of intelligence and/or b) properly advised.

Yes. And as much as we want him, if he's daft enough to consider another club as an option to further his career over us - then we're dodging one. Still leaves us with a hole, but I didn't fancy her anyway mate.

Exactly.

My cock was too big for her.

Trying to get a recent update, but from the last one..... Barkley wants to come and his people are confident it will happen. They are also of the belief that Everton are deliberately holding things up to prove a point(which they are perfectly entitled to do). Once the clubs sort their end this will happen fairly quickly, and I have heard nothing at all regarding Chelsea's interest. As I have said before this is not coming from the Spurs end.

Hate to say A&C is right but the hotel ITK is probably BS. I go to the gym at that hotel and although obviously I wasn't there for much longer than an hour I didn't see him neither any sort of spurs related presence, although the club also use the Marriot in Waltham Abbey too so hey what do I know lol.

Regarding Barkley, I think if we can bring him in plus a Son-esque signing we suddenly don't all feel doomed, exactly the kind of player who would strive under poch so fingers crossed.

Read into it what you will but there's no Everton in his instagram bio anymore either

I don't think there's anything to read into that. He'll never play for Everton again. The question isn't if, it's when and for whom, will he transfer to.
