Amazing that something can be so obvious to the players and the fans yet Harry doesn't know how, or want, to address our shortcomings.

Didn't see that.

There's no smoke without fire.

I just can't imagine things would be allowed to get that bad.

Levy ain't going to sack Redknapp whilst there still is a chance of him going to England and the subsequent compensation. The FA are more than likely to make a decision on May 13th, once the season is over. If they do not appoint Redknapp, then Levy will have to bite the bullet and fire him and his entourage and take the compensation hit. There no way redknapp can continue next season irrespective of what happend with he FA.

I can't see why anyone would be surprised by the content of the goal.com article. The players look ill-prepared for set pieces (both defending and attacking) when they are on the pitch - so why is it a surprise that they actually ARE ill-prepared?!

We, the "idiot" fans, can see it. That's how bad it is. I just don't think Harry knows how to set us up in that respect.

And same goes for tactics. We accidentally hit upon the 3 man midfield working against Chelsea and Swansea. And have we played like that since? Have we fuck.

I'm at the stage now where I just want to see the back of Harry. Let's move on and get someone in who knows how to prepare a team effectively.

Couple that with our indecisiveness in the transfer window and we've been royally fucked over.

Mourinho's out of our reach, I'd say.

But I'd take someone like Brendan Rodgers. Someone who likes to play football the right way, can spot a player, prepares a team well. That'll do for me.

We can still potentially qualify for CL...

If it was secure and then we hit this bad run and players started to question Harry

OR

There was zero chance of us finishing in the top 4

The FA would have made an official approach and Harry would be gone, but not sacked.

He will never be sacked because he's got England in the bag!

Probably brinkmanship now... the FA might wait to see if we will sack HR first, thus saving them a packet in compensation money and DL would rather wait and cash in and invest that money in a new manager.

Mourinho is only far fetched if he believes staying at Real Madrid is his best option. Pretty much won the league and still in with a very good shout of another CL final... does he stay beyond that? No matter how good he is, Real Madrid are a circus onto themselves and they always hire and fire in some presidential suck off.

Mourinho might feel that assuming he wins league and maybe also CL, he could walk out a hero and move on to something with less focus. Spurs could see him with a club that has all the potential but without the media furore or massive spotlight on every game.

I am hoping I know... but god it could be the ticket.

Please Levy, if you want us to seriously be title contenders, this is the man.

Doesn't surprise me in the slightest that article, most of us have been saying it for the last 6 weeks:

  • lack of detail in preparation, and with the likes of set pieces
  • poor tactics
  • the under use of the squad and leaving several players looking jaded
and there you have it in a nutshell...

I agree that the alledged comments are not ground breaking and as you say are a cummulation of rumour and speculation doing the rounds on this message board.

I think Redknapp is under estimating the paying Spurs public when he assumes we know fuck all. A vast majority of fans, probably have more football savvy than him. He's the one who's had the fantastic opportunity to make a career in football, but that does not make him any more knowledgable than someone who has been a keen student of the game from a far.

I struggle to respect an man who is proud to say he writes like a 2 year old, has a bank account in his dogs name and states that he's the most disorganised man on the planet. This organisational weakness is so fucking apparent in his team, selction, tactics and ramblings that in any other profession would not be tolerated.

It doesn't look good when you go back and read those comments in his trial, and then actually translate them to how we look on the pitch.....:)

Its very good!!

Maybe i'm a bit slow on the uptake but i didn't realise goal.com had much going for it.

I'll be sure to take a bit more notice from here on. Anything else to your knowledge JJ they've been pretty good on?

Going back a couple of years or so, I used to think they were a joke. But the fuckers really seem to have their finger on the pulse-and have had for a considerable length of time.

I agree with Shogun to though, these things are always scrutinized a lot more closely when you're losing. I think some of the players looking more and more jaded just expose the other flaws cited - even more.

In other words we've been getting away with it, easily in some cases like early season, when the players were fresh and had plenty in the tank. Tactics and lack of preparation were not being exposed as such then, even though in some games they were still clearly the problem (Blackburn and Fulham away etc - in the early part of the season)
