It was VDV who saved us in the Stoke game in the 93rd minute though was it not?

Can't have been. He can't last the 90 ya see. Maybe, I dunno, if more of our players had the workrate of VDV and Parker, they wouldn't fucking knacker themselves out so much. Share it amongst all 10 players instead of having 7 or 8 of them waddling around with thumbs firmly inserted up their fundamentals waiting for others to win the ball back for them.

Just an idea.

The thing that was confirmed today is that Parker is the only one of our midfield four who has the required mental strength

Of course VDV and JD can play 90 minutes but both are at their best playing less than that .

Why is being a Spurs fan so frustrating ?

Thankfully nobody got stretchered off today .

The point is he fucked it by bringing Defoe on....he talks in interviews about how open we look when we play this way )4-4-2), and how much control we lose when up against three in the middle - and he keeps fucking doing it.

This is literally my main gripe with him. Why keep doing something that you have admitted is flawed and rarely works?

What are the odds that SP won't see it that way?...

No, Jonathan...I am struggling on the reborn pessimist front, because I still see a lot of good work done in regard to the training facilities, new ground underway, good prospects potentially coming form the strategic club relationships initiative, etc. And, as I said last week, if we take the worst case scenario of selling Modric, Bale and VDV, and have someone like (for example) Rodgers comiong in, willing to give every single one of our players a fresh start, we would still have a pretty good young squad, something like £100 million form those sales, plus earmarked transfer budget, and sales form other players a new boss made. I don't think we should be too despondent for the medium to long term.

On the other hand, yeah, this is one of them momumental feck-ups that is beyond disheartening. Nothing less than a top four finish, minimum, as a fond fairwell, will be acceptable - but at the same time, where will our next win come from.

And the sad thing - we don't know just what would have happedned if that dick Atkinson hadn't made yet another monumental fook oop

No...seriously...I'm not clutching at scores. It is a fact that we have no idea what would have happened if muppet-man hadn't struck.
It is simple really: he altered the timeline.
What difference would that have made - well, for a start, it clearly had a psychological impact, in one way or another, with each and every one of our players.
I'm really not making excuses, because I think the players got themselves back into it more inspite of 'Arry than because of him, and I had exactly the same feeling as the majority, a deep sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach when I saw him readying defoe and just knew that VDV would be going off. But, at the same time, Atkinson completely ruined the game by allowing that goal and we have no idea how things would have panned out if he hadn't.
Once again.

people keep banging on about modric playing badly but they are neglecting the fact that our piss poor manager keeps playing the guy out of fucking position!!

if modric plays in a 3 just off the oppos 18 he is a genius & runs games, he plays there for croatia & most recently played there for us away at chelsea!.........sandro on mikels toes, parker on lampards toes & bale modric & vdv off adebeyor, thats why we won today cos harry realised how weell we play in that formation & how we dominated them at the bridge.....add to that harry only knows to well that 442 is dead in the modern game & doesnt work at all as it leaves too exposed to teams that play 3 in the middle & would be suicide x 19 on a huge pitch like wembley......

oh wait erm........we didnt win did we?

he is useless.....i hope a few have awoken to the tactically nieve dinosaur we have in charge of us.....the staring formation was stupid in itself but the vdv for defoe at 2-1 was fucking laughable

his recent record of 1 win in 8, 14pts from 13 league games including a 5-2 hammering by arsenal & a 5-1 hammering in an fa cup semi final to a team that was 15pts behind us on the 26th feb is a fucking disgrace

SACKED, simple as

Yeah, he keeps playing him in midfield, the ****.

It's not like he's a midfielder or anything. What a useless remtard of a ****flap. He's playing a midfielder in MIDFIELD. The cheek of it.

I better start a petition and write to my MP for such ludicrousness. Gah!

I'm not gonna lie, I'm owtrajed.

It's probably already been mentioned, but I couldn't believe what I saw when he took off VDV for Defoe. At this point we were 1 goal down and still stood a good chance at getting an equalizer. However, as soon as VDV came off our performance dropped significantly and there was no real plan in our play going forward.

Harry should know after the last couple of weeks horrid run of results that 4-4-2 does not suit us (or the game in general), and although I too understood that we needed a goal, subbing our best offensive player and going 4-4-2 was simply not what was required. It was the equivalent of spreading our buttcheecks anticipating a rough assfuck without lube.

Redknapp is probably a good manager, and I appreciate all the good he has done for the club. But it's obvious that he has some limitations, and considering what a great squad we have I feel it's time for another manager to show what he can do with our team.

I'll support Redknapp until he is either sacked or leaves for England, but I must say that I wouldn't mind seeing someone else come in this summer.

I feel it would take 3 to replace Redknapp (yes he’s that good we need three)

1

Droopy, Purely for his motivational speaking and inspiration he would provide on the touchline
droopy-dog-3.gif

2
Leatherface To work on Tactics, if nothing else he’d have the players running their hearts out like their lives depended on it

3
Michael Myers Purely for press conferences, he would tell the press straight or kill everyone in the room, but that’s a chance i’m prepared to take.

And the fact that all three are Redknapp dopplegangers means we don’t even need to tell the media we’ve sacked their darling...

And i'm sure at least 2 of them would be able to start immediately!

Makes me wonder what VDV and all the players for that matter think about it. They can't voice any negative opinions but I'm sure there is discontent there just like with fans.
