Just to put it in perspective.

I agree that we have cover (ish), but not having a back-up to a quality striker, who's already knackered, is madness imo.

What a pathetic comparison. You've forgotten Son & N'jie for starters. If you include Firmino as a forward, then you also have to include Chadli and even Eriksen.

Roughly 70% of the others can't even score in a brothel.

The point of that list of strikers isn't that we'd want any of them, it's simply that it shows Spurs are a glaring anomaly. Even if you take out the questionable AM's/wingers from the list, pretty much every team has at least 2 recognised strikers.

That doesn't mean anything in itself, but it does demonstrate that Spurs really are in a very strange situation. And that's true even if Clinton, Son, Chadli and Lamela can all fill in.
