Full credit to our cheif scount for pulling out this one. I thought he looked a natural in his 30 mins for Brazil tonight. Great skills to make space, get away, and positionally looked extremely comfortable. Also asked for the ball a lot which I liked. I think he'll be a great player for us.

I honestly believe that this kid is going to be a star. He has everything. Pace, power, skill, vision and a will to win.

Reminds me a lot of Viera.

I just can't wait to see more of him in a Tottenham shirt. Was well impressed with his debut against the scum, he was pretty much the only good thing that night

On what basis? What does he need to add?

On the basis of a Carling Cup game against Arsenal where almost everyone was crap but Sandro being one of the only players we could find a bit of praise for.... Hmmm...:-|

I predict many future Sandro v Huddlestone debates, I don't see them partnering eachother too regularly, and I think it will come down to who Modric looks best with.

He elbowed someone in the stomach before elbowing someone else in the face half a second later :p

Bit of steel we need alongside wilson.

Joe Jordan and Clive Allen were in the stands keeping an eye on him. He kept it simple and hassled the oppo

in glimpses, he looks quite comfortable running with the ball. when he realises that in this team he will have freedom to express himself, that team mates are quite good at covering, he'll look even better. if he ever gets a game that is..

I think Sandro has a good bit of ability on the ball and has shown a willingness to get forward abit with some surging runs. I reckon they could both play together in the middle of a 442 or be the 2 in a 4231. I guess time will tell but Sandro looks to have a really good engine and he's a big strong guy. He really does look to have all the right characteristics to be a complete midfield box to box general. I can't wait to see more of him for us so I can form a better opinion on his ability, the early signs are very promising though.

I think if Sandro pushes on and looks the bizzo it might see us look at the in vogue 4-2-3-1 formation with Hudd and Sandro in the holding defensive central midfield roles. This could free up VDV, Modric and Bale further up field to be menacing and rip defences apart.

I'm not 100% convinced that we can pull the formation off, I guess it might work at home more than anything.

He just needs a little bit more time to adjust to our football. He'll come good.

i doubt that Sandro will ever have Hudds range of passing, though he looks more mobile than the Hudd so somehow i think Sandro will be more useful away from home. Based on what little ive seen, i think he will be a far better player for us than Wilson.

1) I predict many future Sandro v Huddlestone debates, 2) I don't see them partnering eachother too regularly, and 3) I think it will come down to who Modric looks best with.

1) Probably;

2) Depends on how Sandro develops really. I understand how you could make the assumption, but, as someone else said, he does make surging rus from midfield (ala Zakora:eek:mg: if you like), and 'Arry does lik to play two players who can roughly be classified as 'defensive' (and noticeably, in the latest comments on THudd, it was remarked that he is improving the defensive sideof his game). He may want to give it a go;

3) Assuming Aitch wants to keep Modric in the middle.
