Suarez isn't a line leader. He is the kind of player that drops off. When you have someone who already does that, you don't need to spend £22.8m on someone else to do it. We wanted someone who'd play up on his own. The scouts were right.
I don't see this as a blame thing from Redknapp, he's been asked why we didn't and he's explained. Yet most of you can't wait to stick the knife in.

If Harry know's that we only sign a certain type of player that "fit's the Levy type of signing", for god sake all us fans know that, then why is he chasing players who clearly don't fit the model......?

Why are we so suprised he's mugging off our fans and insulting them? He was quick enough to shop us to the police for the Sol Campbell songs which weren't even racist and help in getting one fan wrongfully banned. People seem to forget that. Water off a ducks back for him.

I agree that the scouts were right.
I disagree that Harry isn't trying to pass the blame. It's pretty clear that he is when you read the quotes.
Harry said 'we' wanted a striker but 'they' said he couldn't lead the line. He then went on about how he did it great against Fulham. Which is obviously a dig at the scouts.
Harry is caught between a rock and a hard place.
On the one hand making excuses for why we did so poorly in the second half of the season by blaming the scouts for giving a poor assessment of Suarez, and on the other going on about how it was a brilliant season anyway, much better than last year, and all the Tottenham fans loved everything about our football this year, and the ones that didn't are idiots anyway so fuck them.
Nicdic, come on. Even you have to admit that this is poor form from Harry. If he carries on calling our fans idiots he's in danger of becoming our Gary Megson.

He's useless because your source tells you he screws things up? Or because he took us from relegation candidates to champions league football? Sure we've had a slump this season, but only United haven't, and even then they've had a poor season by their standards.

Lets have it right, its not the mistakes that are pissing a lot of people off, not saying this is one as such, but its his attitude that really is starting to piss a lot of people off.
Thats the way I'm interpeting it anyway.
Yes I know loads are pissed off with some of these mistakes and Harry is obviously very defensive, but there are certain ways to conduct yourself when you have this level of responsibility.

Serious question here, who appointed our scouts? Are they the left overs from the DOF era or are they the team Harry brought with him and his numerous coaches?
