Lots of posters passing comment in this thread.

Thought I would look at those passing comment and highlight some useful passing statistics.

29 comments either positive or negative on the OP.

20 negative and 9 positive. That's an astonishingly low 31%.

If we look at comments passed in other threads we can see BC is falling well short of the mark set by Hot-Spur in the 'If we win the league...' thread, or even the less talented dimiSpur in his 'Harry Redknapp's Blue and White Army' Thread

Hot-Spur (20/20) 100%
dimiSpur (9/11) 81%
BC (9/29) 31%

It's clear from these passing statistics that BC needs to be benched, or loaned out to a lower league message board for the rest of the season. Whilst the team on this message board has risen up a level BC hasn't kept pace and perhaps it's time for him to be moved on. I'm sure he'd be very useful for a mid to low table premiership team's message board, or at the top end of the championship.

Lol !

How about a free transfer for BC to Liverpool ? Lots of good material for him to work with at pool.

Hmmm well , I see why those with an agenda are making hay at the style of the post...but it doesn't bother me..I thought it was a good read with a couple of Xmassy references in there for good measure .

China's thing is funny too .The whole thing is good entertainment .

...So Ta to BC for starting it all ..keep it up .

This place would be a lot duller without him... so chill .

You can say this about a lot of regular SC posters tbh.

What is the problem anyway? Have the majority of SC posters not been calling for a 4-5-1 / 4-3-3 formations with both Sandro And Parker in it all season?

Ok, claiming this as your own is a bit over the top, but this was surely just an attempt to create discussion.

I think you missed the point, if you want to criticise tactics and the manager even after a good performance, that is your perogative, go to the match thread. Nobody in this thread is a blind HR fan, least of all me. However, when you start your own thread and attempt to say the manager has thankfully seen your point of view on tactics and then trash him for failure to coach, topping off your arrogance with a school report grade on the manager then you should expect the kind of response BC has received in this thread.

Put another way if BC had started a thread applauding HR's tactical variety and noting how he and others, myself included, had been wrong he would have a different response. He could have even said that all we are lacking to be the best team in the league would be to add to some Barca style pressing the ball and had me and others applaud and agree. Some times in life it isn't just what you say but how you say it.

I think you need to get over your fucking self, and realise this is football we are talking about, not third world debt, unjust war, famine or corporate hegemony.

The irony of you lecturing JUSTINSIGNAL about missing the point - that I pretty much did do exactly what you said I should be doing - when you missed that point by about a mile is only bettered by the irony of you (and 4 pages of other clucking hens) critiquing someone for....critiquing someone.

60 posts before Jeremy actually became the first poster to make any attempt to address the subject matter and attempt the deconstruction that (what was it chinaspur) 29 of you failed miserably to do. You were too pre-occupied with being determined to be outraged at what you couldn't wait to misunderstand.

The point your apoplexy made you miss was that I was praising Redknapp for coming up with a solution that I certainly hadn't thought of or called for, in fact it was a solution, based on VDV's position, that I probably would have opposed. The epilogue was the caveat that must be applied. Why ? Because we have seen what we are capable when it is applied (Liverpool, AC Milan), and I believe there is no limit for us if it is applied. The grading was just a piece of frivolous humour, playing to my own caricature. Who'd have thought 29 people on here are such close friends of Redknapp that they would take such offence on his behalf eh ?

I'm confused why BC gets so much shit. He criticises Harry when he thinks he has made wrong tactical decisions and praises him when they are right. What is the problem.

Are we all supposed to follow are manager blindly just because he has been successful overall?

the reason he gets it is because he, like pretty much everyone on here and every other football forum, knows more or less nothing about what it takes to put out a team in the premier league. i'll repeat, more or less nothing. i include myself in that.

where this guy gets up people's noses, in my humble opinion, is that he pretends that he does know more than the bare minimum. not only that, he pretends that he knows more than a manager that has been doing it for years. successfullly.

it's this stance that opens him up to ridicule. ridicule that he richly deserves. everyone is entitled to their opinion, of course, but when that opinion is stated as fact be prepared for people to call you out on it.

i tihnk i've worked out why he's called himself bus conductor as well.

B-C has an interesting viewpoint. You may agree or disagree. Or both at the same time. But, while some of the negative comments come with a wee dash of reasoning, as a casual observer, a lot of you just appear like a pack of school yard bullies to me.

There is only one poster in this thread who is apoplectic and it certainly isn't me. There isn't a hint of anger in my posts because I'm not angry, I know this will probably wind you up even more but nobody in this thread is angry at you we're laughing at how seriously you take yourself. I strongly suggest you get off your high horse, demonstrate some humility and hold your hands up to the arrogance of the original post but if you don't I won't lose any sleep over it because I don't get wound up by posts on a football forum and I'm too busy enjoying the football Spurs are playing. If you really need to vent how about spilling your bile on some Goon or Chelski fans, that is far more fun.

.

Right so the problem is style . If he hadn't put his name in the thread title
and had bunged in a coupla imos in the piece ..that would be ok ?

Small potatoes .

I go for content over details of style myself . BC has a strong yiew point ...good surely . And all this bother about his stats ?

Theres a bloke on a footy forum who believes in and often quotes , stats
good surely . I'm interested to hear them as part of my own perspective on a match...wheres the problem ?

Mebbe my testosterone levels are running down

After reading through this thread I cant see what the big deal is. BC has his opinion and style of writing and he is entitled to it and although I dont always agree he often makes valid and explained points that are legitimate, just stick him on ignore if you dont want to read it.
