Yes, you and the other 26 posters in this thread who preferred camp little jibes as surrogate for some kind of coherent opinion.

I hope you are not including me in the 26. I told you that your absolute **** of a holier than thou 'epilogue' stopped your analysis from last night being worth a toss.

I'm confused why BC gets so much shit. He criticises Harry when he thinks he has made wrong tactical decisions and praises him when they are right. What is the problem.

Are we all supposed to follow are manager blindly just because he has been successful overall?

I reckon we would have come away with only 1 point or less if bale was not in form like he was...(stating the obvious)

I think you missed the point, if you want to criticise tactics and the manager even after a good performance, that is your perogative, go to the match thread. Nobody in this thread is a blind HR fan, least of all me. However, when you start your own thread and attempt to say the manager has thankfully seen your point of view on tactics and then trash him for failure to coach, topping off your arrogance with a school report grade on the manager then you should expect the kind of response BC has received in this thread.

Put another way if BC had started a thread applauding HR's tactical variety and noting how he and others, myself included, had been wrong he would have a different response. He could have even said that all we are lacking to be the best team in the league would be to add to some Barca style pressing the ball and had me and others applaud and agree. Some times in life it isn't just what you say but how you say it.

No what he does is praise him and then criticise him in the next sentence.

He cannot give out any credit without finding some minute, irrelevant fault in Redknapps coaching or a particular performance.

If any of Bale's chances in the first half had fallen to VdV we would have been 3-0 up at half time so I don't agree with that analysis at all.

To be honest that is it in a nutshell.

Why do you have a problem with the blind section at WHL - they pays their monies too, y'know

Self-indulgent narcissism and delusions of grandeur.

I am sure Redknapp will be on the edge of his seat when he gets this term's report card and will take it back to Sandra with a mix of joy and shame that his mentor gave him an A and a C.

I'm not inclined to agree with you often, Coyboy, but I think you have this spot on. Unbelievable. Made me want to slap my own face with a wet kipper.

Harry, get on here now, read this post and learn how it's done. Doh.

That epilogue really is awful, patronising, hogswash! Completely ruined your entire post with that C+ (or was it C-, I cant be bothered checking) for coaching in all honesty BC.

Is that really such a big deal? After all there is a match rating thread where people give marks every week.

I though the analysis was fair, people are just pissed off at the epilogue.

That's the trouble with bloody footballers they move about.
It's only good tactics and formation
if Alan Hanson can draw two lines acrosss the pitch
and count two units of four on them.

You had me nodding along until the epilogue. Don't agree. The coach has built this team to play to it's strengths... which, is holding and pushing the ball around, waiting for an opening, and then attacking at speed. When we don't have the ball, the players quickly rush into their defensive positions, and hassle the other team off the ball. Hence why we haven't conceded that many this year. The times we do look a little at sea, is when VDV plays on the right, and gets caught too narrow. This was a problem in the Arse and Chelsea games... but apart from that... can't say it's mattered all that much.

B.C you really do have a talent for getting some folks 'knickers in a twist'

It's amazing how many bites you can get by simply throwing out a line in these shallow waters.

In the words of the great Eric Cantona "when the seagulls follow the trawler, it is because they think sardines will be thrown into the sea".
