The fact that at this time of sorrow, you spared a moment of your time to let us know of his passing away to a better life, speaks volumes that he was a good father and husband. It goes a long way also, to show that you were brought up in the right way, with dignity, respect and care towards others and towards society. I am sure that you make your dad very proud. Brighten up mate, I will keep your dad in my prayers.

Sorry to hear about your loss mate. My own father in law passed away after a similar fight sometime back. I always felt it was hard to see them go the way they did. But to fight that illness off for that long really does make them heroes. Best to remember them as the men they were rather than the men that passed away. My deepest sympathies are with you and your loved ones in what is a difficult time!
