Does anyone know how many away tickets actually go to season ticket holders? The numbers don’t really make sense for the chelsea game because even if everybody with 350+ applied it doesn’t reach 3,000 but the cut off was 374.

350-400 go to player/staff friends and family, stewards and other staff, sponsors, segregation lines, etc, all of which comes out of the away allocation. Of the remainder, 12% or so go to Premium ST holders. In a 3k allocation, that leaves about 2,300 for regular ST holders. Basically, PL away allocations are miserly and should be increased across the board.

Agreed there is a lot of people in that 150-250 bracket (more than half of ST’s). I have seen people complaining about not being able to get away tickets even though they have had a ticket for over 20 years ?‍♂️
I’ve never been able to get an away ticket yet I go to every home match (incl cup games) over the last 5yrs.

There just aren’t many available and those that can get them generally pass them on to their mates.

Be interesting to see if the new policy being put in place around selling on away tickets actually has any impact.

So you are suggesting maybe that Woolwich supporters should get say a 1000 more away tickets at the expense of the Spurs members home allocation , not sure that would go down well. :)

If you’d been to every home match including cup games for the past 5 years there are some you could’ve got tickets for. I haven’t been to every home cup game in the past 5 years and I got newcastle tickets last season.

On the ticketing points question the supporters trust always pull together a nice little visual to show how many loyalty points are needed to get an away ticket for each match

So if your say 70+ and had a ST for over 40 years but stopped going away 10 years ago but still goes to every home match and we get to the FA Cup final at Wembley- you don’t think he’s very loyal and doesn’t deserve a Cup final ticket?
I was talking about away tickets. Not cup final tickets. In any case I’m pretty certain anyone with over 150 points would get a cup final ticket.

Let's assume on an average year we reach the QFs of both domestic cups and the R16 in Europe. That'd mean about 4 home domestic cup ties at about 3 points each, and 4 home European ties at about 2 points each, so in total 20 points. Add that to the 40 for having an ST on a home cup scheme, and that's 60 a year or 300 over a 5-year cycle. In other words, this hypothetical person will easily get their cup final ticket with the possible exception of a Europa or Conference League final at a smaller venue.

The people who don't sign up to the cup scheme, but still generally go, will probably be fine too.

Those who generally don't bother half the time or more unless it's the Champions League or the latter stages of a tournament might find themselves missing out.
Exactly. I’m not even on the cup scheme as I like to sit in a different stand for each cup game and I’ve still got over 450 points.

I'd actually almost be tempted to award 0 for some games - it's not a demonstration of loyalty to go to Arsenal away, or indeed to buy home tickets for a big Champions League game! Most points should definitely be awarded for games lots of people don't want to go to.
I don't know about that, I mean the big games are more expensive, there's more chance we could lose and they're on tv. I don't see how it's a lack of loyalty when fans go to those games.

30 loyalty points from season ticket have been credited to account today.

I thought it was more than 30 points, but I could be wrong. Anyone remember if it was also 30 points from season tickets of previous seasons?

It was 30 last season if you go to account menu in eticketing and click on purchase history gives you points added info there , My total has gone down about 17 points , as I don't apply for away tickets not really a problem.
Looks like they have also updated the ticketing points table for ST holders, looks like we have
41,720 GA & 1882 ST holders , 252 wheelchair ST's and 283 ambulant ST's

For the first time in ages, I think they've got my points total right! Shame Chelsea and Forest are first up but fingers crossed I'll get West Ham at the end of the month. COYS

Wonder how much this will be enforced, in email from club yesterday..

"Away Match Tickets

The misuse of away match tickets is a regular source of frustration for supporters who do not qualify for them but observe them being passed on or sold via social media and other avenues. As a result these genuine supporters who may otherwise qualify for a ticket are denied the opportunity to support the team away from home.
Supporters found to have passed on or sold a ticket for face value or below will receive a written warning and a 50% reduction of Ticketing Points. Supporters found to have sold a ticket for above face value will receive an indefinite ban and loss of all Ticketing Points.
To tackle this misuse, the Club reserves the right to randomly select supporters to collect their away match tickets from the host venue on the day of a match. In such situations the host venue will be instructed to only release individual tickets to the named ticket holder as advised by Tottenham Hotspur."
Hopefully, rigorously. I've been a season ticket holder for 24 years. I can't get an away ticket for love, nor money. I have a friend who just racks up loyalty points by getting tickets and selling them on at cost.

I'm not sure this is correct, the policy is clear the only away tickets that are included in the allocation that do not go to ST holders are that of ambulant wheelchair spaces as notified on the website , to suggest otherwise means the club are lying publicly oh dear ?

Premium are part of the allocation. They receive approximately 13% of the standard 3000 allocation.
this is not the case otherwise it would have to be stated on the website alongside wheelchair etc
all clubs in the PL have a premium element but this is given aside to the ST allocation
