Will the new stadium mean that a shed load more season tickets will be offered? At the start of last season I took up my first membership and was 47,750 on the waiting list , at the moment I can't see where I am now (not sure if I'm looking in the wrong place or if it's because membership is being renewed now). Just thought I would ask how many years people thought it might be before I got offered one? Can't find info anywhere about how quickly you move through the list, was expecting 6yr+

I'd say probably 18-20k new season tickets issued. Maybe even a few more.

Your not 47500th. M

47500 members dont all want season tickets. Me included and im about 8000th.

Some cant afford it.

Some dont want to go every week.

Some are just bored of it all.

Ive given up the season ticket ive had for 4 years from a pal. Think I didnt bother with 7 of the last 10 games it was so boring.

There will be a season ticket for you, Ive no doubt

I’d be surprised if everyone that wanted a season ticket in the new stadium didn't get one. Some might have to pay more than they would like but if you really really want to support Tottenham every other week I'm sure their will be enough seats to go round

So many on the waiting list will decline an offer of actually getting a season ticket

Depends, until the planning permission is submitted no ones how may seats there are going to be in each section

At the moment we have around 23,500 season ticket holders with it likely being around 3-5k are general sale though one book claims 7k general sale and then we have 3k away fans and the final number is the hospitality fans which is also likely to be 3-5k

The number that is going to rise the most at the new stadium is the hospitality with it going to between 10-12.5k if not more now the NFL are involved(since thats why they are always building stadiums after 30 years).

Away fans for PL will stay fixed and general sale and season ticket holders will increase but not to get you down the quickly(if everyone wanted one)

So it depends on our new stadium and how badly everyone wants one. Most likely it will be the second season at the earliest in the new ground

Was 10,000 last season (give or take) so was hoping to get a ticket in the Kop - what does everyone reckon to my chances of that? Guess I'll probably be c.6,000 this season and 2,000 next (though it being the last season at the Lane, possibly not). How many season tickets do we think will be in the Kop? 14k? Doesn't leave me much chance, a couple of things I've always wondered so am now planning on hi-jacking the thread:

1) how easy, not at all, is it to change where you sit when you get a season ticket?
2) my son is 2, reckon I'll try and get him a season ticket when he is 8 or so - how easy, if at all, will it be to get him a ticket next to me (I.e. Two together)?

The last Tottenham riots will look like childs play if it doesn't make a difference.:)

I want a season ticket in the new ground. Im not a member at the moment so not on waiting list. I'm planning to join this summer and hope I can get a season ticket before too long. Might be a long shot but I'm hoping loads on the waiting list decline when it actually comes down to parting with cash
edit...just joined with a one bronze membership!

I reckon you’ll have no chance of getting a Kop Ticket as many existing season ticket holders will apply for that section

It's not that difficult to change seats if it's just 1 seat but the more seats you want together the more difficult it becomes

Depends how well we are doing in 6 years time as to how easy it will be for you to get a seat for your boy next to you. If we are doing really well, no chance. If we are doing ok it might be possible. If we’re shocking you’ll have no problem

I actually think people might not bother with season tickets in the new stadium. I mean, it's pretty easy to get tickets now, if we struggle to fill the new stadium there won't really be any need to get one. I'm sure I will but I think lots of current season ticket holders might think twice.

other than price increases which could be excessive knowing levy i cant think of a single reason to agree with your suggestion. the clamour initially will be great. there are loads of fans who are not even on the list, me included, due to a long spell overseas. but i will make sure i get one even if i have to pay through the nose.

I know my post above is unpopular because you arent allowed to be negative.

But the football is dross 80% of the time, weve had two enjoyable to watch attacking players in 3 years.

And what hasnt been mentioned at all is the season away. If we go to MK dons.

A) who would give it up?

B) who would afford to keep it knowing they wont or more importantly CANT go every week?

C) who would keep it just to get one the year after?

I for one have zero interest in getting from Chigwell to Milton Keynes on a Saturday. I like the fact I can be to spurs and back in 4 hours or less otherwise it just becomes a bit death by football. And thats just not worth it for 4-5 good games a year.

Im absolutely confident that the prices wont go up too much because I know a LOt of people that have a hard time justifying it as it is.

Im sure there will be tickets wherever you want them. Not everyone wants to sit in the kop with the singing and atmosphere. As you get older, tastes change. If I cant see whats going on on the pitch I would sooner watch on TV.

With a bit of luck we will have some intentful and daring owners by then. Winning the prudent financial management league couldnt be more irrelevant to the football fans here.

I will get one. Doubt I'll be a le to afford it! Expect my dad will get it and we will work something out. I want one in park lane though :(. O actually, no I don't, the atmosphere is shite. Ha, it's been a while, almost forgot that fact.

Away season ticket ftw!

I would say out of the 47k on that list up to 30k will be able to get a ST, which is still very impresive, especially you put considerstion the near lack of success over the past 20 years.

Just makes you wonder what we could fill if we were more successful, even a spell like like the 60s and CL on the regs, let alone Barcelona of the past 10 years. What 70,000, maybe even 80,000?

I reckon you've got a good chance at a season ticket unless they reduce prices. I think they will
