Had this chat with a fellow bronze member the other day. He insists that Daniel Levy is actually kaizer soze and when you reach the top of the season ticket waiting list you realise it was the greatest trick the world had ever seen, it's all just mythical and just a way of extracting more money then being a Lilly White member. Can anyone more in the know then I shed any light on this.

Someone may get to the top of the waiting list, but if no one is giving up their season tickets then there is no new ones for them to have. Not a con just not enough seats!

This is why we need a new bigger stadium.

The greatest trick that Daniel Levy ever pulled was convincing the world that he....the new stadium....the Champions League....silverware....managerial stability....the season ticket waiting list doesn't exist.

Got mine in '99. There was no waiting because we were so shit in the 90's. If you're lucky we might be shit again.

I was on the waiting list for 3 years before getting offered one (they released an extra 1500 ST's a few years ago), and I don't personally know anyone that has ever put their ST back into the abyss, if they don't want it they just sell it to a mate 'on loan' for a year.

I wouldn't hold your breath if you are indeed on the waiting list, and if we get a 60,000 seater stadium you wont need a Season Ticket anyway.

I got offered one last summer, but as I'd just had my first child, wasn't the right time. I'll have a decision to make this summer I assume.

The whole bronze membership thing does raise a few questions (while there's a thread on it)...

I'm interested in signing up as a bronze member...from what I understand, I get a chance to buy tickets earlier and go on the waiting list for an ST plus a few other bits and bobs.

If eventually I was offered a season ticket...

1. and I couldn't afford it that year, would I go back to the bottom of the waiting list?
2. and I wanted my son to attend matches with me, would he need a season ticket too? Can I guarantee seats near me if I was to take him?

How does it work? Do you have to renew the bronze membership each year?

1. You get two offers before going to the bottom of the list, ie, you get offered it the first summer, and if you say no, you'll get another offer the next summer.
2. Yes he would, to guarantee you'd be together all the time.

If you do direct debit your bronze membership is automatically renewed each year unless you cancel.

Currently 12000th on the waiting list. Given the current stadium capacity I'm going to be about 346 years old before I get the offer of a season ticket. Still, that will be the year Leandro Damio signs so every cloud.....

I have broze membership for my son and i, both accoutns are linked so i can buy a jnr ticket and link to his account so we sit together. And you get advance notice to buy tickets as well.

Number 43000 on the waiting list; so when he is off age he will remember the good deed from Daddy (not home work, or how to chase the ladies) but the chance to be a season ticket holder.

WOW, is it possible to have a waiting list that long...... probably they need to perfrom a system check and flush a few off that list. there might be a few on the list that are not interested.

6412 on the list and it seems to go down about 500 to a 1000 per season before Stubhub came in. It will go even slower now. Oh well I am off to pastures new so won't need it.
