Would be more than happy to go into the season with Trippier and KWP as our RB options. Can see KWP going out on loan if we sign a RB, although he could be decent cover for LB too while Rose is injured.

I don't know too much about Aurier but from what I've read, I'd rather not have this kind of character at Spurs - but if he comes, he should come with a clean slate. He just seems like a bit of an arrogant dickhead. But like in all things football, if he came and performed excellently then the vast majority of the crowd would get behind him and forget his past.

We've had idiots here in the past. Even our idol was arrested for assault and alleged racist comments.

Aaron Ramsey leaves the studs in against Dele, who is now writhing in agony, with an awful challenge

Aurier darts over all the way from the other end of the pitch and nuts Ramsey out cold mid sprint.

Endeared to the Tottenham fans for life.

Shame he's an Arsenal fan though haha

Think Ledley was a one can dan, barely ever drank and when he did he went loony after one bottle of Miller. Had to be carried out of that Faces nightclub after the cup win in 08 as well

Possibly Poch has good contacts with PSG having played their previously, and as such has the inside track on Aurier and may be believes Aurier won't be much of a problem to manage.

I've had a think about this. I really hope it's true and we sign him. He's a much better RB than trippier and has proven CL pedigree. Would make our squad much stronger and able to cope with a long season.

I'm surprised off the back of one game against Newcastle people genuinely think RB is well covered. We are one injury away from KWP being our first choice RB in CL and title deciding games. Thankfully I believe Poch knows this hence the Aurier links.

Can KWP play left back?

Not really. He keeps on cutting back onto his right foot, so it greatly reduces his attacking threat.

KWP understandably concentrated on his positional and defensive play against the geordies, so we didn't see much of his attacking potential. He could do an emergency job on the left, but his position is RB or RWB.

Do you think that he needs to put on about 10kg of lean muscle before he can think about coping with the rigours of PL football? Because that is my immediate impression.

KWP is a FB in the mould of Stevie Carr, always looking to get on the ball and help link up attacks. But I don't think he's ever going to be built like Carr was.

In fact, one of KWP's strengths is his agility and ability to turn on a sixpence, which could be diminished if he bulks up too much.

If we do sign Aurier, then I suspect he and Trippier will rotate at RB for the rest of the season, and Poch will have a decision to make as to how to ensure KWP continues to develop and progress.

Don't think will be spending 25m on him. If we are getting Sanchez for 30m + and gonna get Barkley for around 25m plus the Spanish kid for say 10m 90m in total don't see us spending that much sadly

50 for walker plus the loan deals being completed. Possibly winmer departing and we have rumours over sissoko/Janssen. 90mil sounds a lot but the money is possibly there.

Not saying the money isn't there, just the small matter of a stadium to pay for we are going to have to bank some cash

Depends on if we can sell Sissoko, probably.

We've already brought in a good amount of cash via Walker, Njie, Fazio and Bentaleb. Siggy's sale will bring in a little more and Wimmer should be a decent chunk, too. Those alone are reaching the £100m mark.
