If this doesn't happen now after all the noise about him, I'm going to do my transfer window equivalent of positive rating every post in this transfer section, only to unrate them on Friday just to double fuck everyone over and give me a much needed sense of power
Oh you swine.

Unfortunately it does all have a "we tried but you know....." feel about it:

Barkley - off
Aurier - off
Balde - joined someone else
Martial - tried but no luck
Sancho - City pulled the plug
Lemar - tried but no luck
Sessegnon - tried but no luck

Oh but here is a 3rd choice GK and 2 very good young centre backs to strengthen the part of our team that actually doesnt really need strengthening.....

.............Poch is going to be delighted!

Sad but might be true. Worst part is we will hear from the Levy PR machine how it was everyone elses fault. Not a single more thing he could have done.

The HO will have made their decision, it's not exactly a difficult case and TBH I can't see how it can be negative as the conviction was overturned and therefore he has no criminal record

Presume it's down to our media team to announce and they might wait till tomorrow

they will probably wait till 11pm Thursday so that we get the most coverage

Imo the worst part is listening to the constant negative moaning before it's even happened.
I mean, it's not like we've been disappointed by a transfer window before. Me, I live my life in a state of constant disappointment, that way I can't be surprised by any more disappointment.

You're right Trix however it is based on previous. I think somewhere in the middle is prob the right place to be.

I know what it's based on and there is absolutely no guarantee it won't be the same again. Point is if you fully expect it not to happen, why even bother to come into the transfer rumours section in the first place?

I've certainly refrained from meltdown as it does seem a bit different this year. I'm definitely running the wait and see first approach. Me losing my shit on here isn't going to make any difference to what Levy does.

Past windows don't give me much confidence but until the ITK states otherwise the alarm's won't be going off for me.

Sorry but your post and our last minute transfer dealings reminds me of this from Blackadder Goes Fourth and General Haig's battle plan. If we keen on doing the same thing time after time then eventually they won't expect it!

In the hope that they are wrong. Football screws up even the most sensible who get carried away with all the hope that a transfer window brings with it. There are some that are super positive and some that are super negative - both are equally annoying.

I was thinking the exact same. Gluttons for punishment. Equivalent of turning up at an all you can eat whilst on a diet. You're never going to be able to resist falling into bad habits ;)

If the decision is to be made today then surely we will know for definite soon. They're all about to go home. It's nearly 5.30!
