I'm convinced Dim Tim is a charachter created from the imagination of Chris Morris & does'nt really exist except to mess with our heads.
Nobody could be as thick as Tim surely, it's so Brass Eye

If he was a character in a comedy sketch I'd discredit it as being too extreme.

We`ve won a meaningless game. A dead rubber. Every big game, important game we`ve played under sherwood we`ve fucking lost. Sometimes embarrisingly so. I dont want meaningless results like todays to help justify Levys decision to sell players like Vertonghen and Walker, while at the same time keeping Sherwood on as manager.
Far from meaningless for Fulham who were desperate for the points. They've also come off the back of two straight wins.

This game was far from a dead rubber and we still won it.

Far from convincing though.

I pray I wake up tomorrow to a tweet from the official twitter announcing Tim's sacking. He needs to get out of this club before its too late. Do something right for once, Daniel. Get rid of this cancer already.

Let's not get too dramatic. We won the match, and we only have three more to play. Let's wait until the end of the season, have a cup of tea, reassess and go from there. It's obvious sherwood won't be here next season and parting now would look ridiculous on everyone's part

Sorry just to let you in on a little secret,I realise you don't know a lot about football/soccer....the team that scores the most goals ................fucking wins!

Great riposte...and thanks for perfectly illustrating my point by jumping to Tim's defence yet again

I swear to God.............I hope we keep Tim next year because the crack here is brilliant.
Its like WORLD WAR Z in here....... where a very few of us normal people are surrounded by brain dead zombies!
In my best Kevin Keegan voice.............I would fucking love it!!!!

I don't think many people would want to live in a world where you're one of the normal people. If you were to remove your head from Tim's rectum for at last a few minutes each day, you might see things a bit more clearly. That shit can't be good for you.

On the assumption that he is out the door in the Summer, do you think he will be retained in some capacity by the club? That is the real worry for me.

I can't quite get my head around my feelings for the club at the moment. It's a weird, weird time to be a fan and can't put my finger on it.

He will move on imo.

The problem is it's a world cup year and a lot of clubs and players will want transfers sorted out before the tournament starts, as much as we all assume the idiot will be sacked, he is still officially in charge for another 12 months. I fear the likes of Hugo, Paulinho, Jan etc. will look at the situation and the uncertainty and tell their agents to get me out of here quick!
The club could and should come out and say the recent speculation has forced forward a decision and by mutual agreement Dimwit leaves immediately, the club will announce a new manager at the end of season. At least then there is some sort of confirmation for the unsettled players.

Sorry, you're right about the league points. AVB's points per game was better up until today's win, but we only have "easy" games left now.

Not true - before yesterday AVB: 27/16 = 1,6875, Sherwood 33/18 = 1,83333. Sherwood has had better points per game at all points of his tenure.

By the way, AVB had our highest win percentage in the Premier League era. If Sherwood is now top, or even second, that's actually quite disturbing haha!

Sherwood has highest win percentage in the PL. Don't know how it's more disturbing than AVB having it. If anything it proves that AVB wasn't up to that much.

Interesting stat, this thread has more responses than the joke thread, new stadium thread and most amazingly the injury thread...

Tototoner, finnyid and eddiebailey will just ignore this post as the stats with the inclusion of all games played does not serve their agenda.

If you really, honestly, deep down believe that given how clearly we improved on league (points per game, goals scored per game up to double) Sherwood wouldn't have gotten through UEL qualifications (double fixture against Tbilisi) or group stages (double fixtures against Tromsö, Anzhi, Sheriff) or that given how we were playing under AVB we would've won against Benfica (or even Dnipro) or Arsenal at FA, you're of course entitled to it. It's just rather amazing.
