Its pretty obvious mate - we call it common sense. You are obviously 1 of those people who take everything literally.........

Im not your "mate" and unless you have some fucking 6th sense, which i doubt, you would be surprised at some peoples thoughts on football matters.

I suppose you can enlighten me on "bingy" as you seem to have plenty of common sense

Can you tell what im thinking now??? Eek

Damian - do you honestly think people are saying "no" to making a bid for Rooney because they dont think he is good enough for us, rather than its pointless making the bid? If its the first then i despair about your intelligence.

I don't understand how anyone can think we'd end up with Rooney after January.

Is like Aston Villa fans asking if they should make a 'cheeky' bid for Modric in January...

Alright lads calm down, calm down!

If anyone actually thinks we can get Rooney, they are foolish. Obviously, he would walk straight into our team and we'd probably give the title a good go. But he wouldn't come to us. Not yet, anyway. Perhaps if we stay in the top 4 and challenge for the next couple of seasons, and United fall away, then maybe. But by then, we might have found our own Rooney, perhaps in Harry Kane, so we wouldn't need him.

And all that's wrong with him is he's out of form. Once he gets a goal or two he'll be on the same planet he was next season. Just hope it's not for a couple of weeks, because we go up to Old Trafford soon.

Having read alot of what gets posted on this forum nothing surprises me at what people think and you would be foolish to believe otherwise. I have read some complete utter nonsense on here many times before and as for my intelligence, well thats fine.

Weve already got Robbie Keane who in my opinion is a very similar player - so no thanks.

You must be joking. How many goals did Rooney score last year. I think twice as many as keane usualy does. Keane is not i'n the same class. I mean for Christ sake he is our 4th striker at the moment. Do you think if Rooney was here he would be 4th. No he would play nearly every week.

I did however spot the sarcasm regarding what Wexford has responded to here

If we could and he wanted to come YES YES YES!

of course it will never happen, more likely to stay at UTD IMO his next move would be Everton.

Love to get Rooney but he wont come and we wouldnt pay his wages (prozzies arent getting any cheaper you know).

Torres on the other hand might be realistic...

no thanks, with him and bale in the same side we would be put under pressure from the animal protection services to start breeding for conservation purposes

i dont think Man United would play any better or any worse if Keane replaced Rooney or vice versa - the guy is over hyped & nowhere near as world class as the likes of Kaka, Ronaldo etc ......
