i dont think Man United would play any better or any worse if Keane replaced Rooney or vice versa - the guy is over hyped & nowhere near as world class as the likes of Kaka, Ronaldo etc ......

Kaka has been pretty average for a long while imo but because he's Brazilian and has a cool name people still act like he's the same player from 07. On last seasons form I'd take Rooney even Ronaldinho over him everytime.

If it hasn't already been said we couldn't afford to pay even half of his wages so it will never happen.

Stan Collymore on Twitter says his head has been turned by a £500k p/w offer from Man City.

I can't fucking stand shitty, they were jammy as fuck today too

These arab fuckers could end up turning them into a fecking super team unlike anything we've seen before in England. Why can't they just fuck off back to the desert and shag some camels

I think it would be hilarious to see Rooney at Man City.

I do hate Shitty but not half as much as the arrogant glory hunting *****s down the road from them.

Well it looks like there is a real possibility of him going. Interesting viewing for their game on Tuesday and the associated press conference for that one.

United are in a really precarious position at the moment regarding this, I guess they are kicking themselves they didn't get him to re sign pre world cup. Only 18 months - to 2 years left on his current deal. A value of 50 million has decreased to probably around 30 million in the space of 6 months (assuming he re signed 6 months ago) - at a guess anyway.

Thats if this is indeed the case.

Also seeing Giggs is out for 3 more weeks or so with his injury, thats a plus for us.

Yes, of course my post suggests that. Impeccable logic.

Nope. I just wouldn't take that deal. Too much baggage with Rooney, plus his fee and wages would be far too rich for our blood and yeah, ManYoo wouldn't sell to us anyway.

I reckon Daniel Levy should spend the entire January transfer window making prank calls and cheeky bids.
Phone Mourinho one day offer €€2.50 for Ronaldo and Wenger 3quid for Fabregas.

We should do it, and we should come out and say we may bid also, because I'm sick and fed up of Whiskey Nose doing it to us every transfer window.

Rooney is an alright player but we can't afford too many English players if we are serious about EPL/CL success. Already we are becoming 'top heavy' with English players. Although Rooney is english born...he is not 'classic english'...player-wise nor personality-wise? He has the non-english trait that makes him more of a world class. That said....his experiences with England have 'branded' him for life....sad but true (if only he had taken his chance with a decent international side lol). I would suspect that he WILL move to one of the Top Euro Leagues and progress further! COYS!

This is a joke right?
