Not a lot has changed here in my opinion.

He now belongs to MUFC for a further 5 years, which drives his value through the roof.

Result - MUFC get more cash when he is sold.

He can now get back on side with the fans and the players. Rooney gets more game time, plays well and increases his value.

I think he's still off, maybe not in January, but I can't see him being at United at start of next season.
