Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino will reportedly allow Gylfi Sigurdsson to leave White Hart Lane this summer, with Swansea City and Crystal Palace both in the hunt.

The 24-year-old impressed during a loan spell with Swansea in the 2011-12 campaign, before joining Spurs on a permanent deal from Hoffenheim in 2012.

The playmaker has struggled to make a serious impact in London over the last couple of seasons, however, and according to The Sun, will be allowed to leave this summer.

Swansea have been linked with another move for the Icelandic international, while Palace are also believed to be monitoring proceedings.

Sigurdsson has made just 26 league starts for Spurs in the last two campaigns

Well, it is The Sun, but I do think he will leave this summer.

I think there is a good player in there but was never going to work for AVB's football style.

Always wanted to see what he would look like in the the False 9 role....especially in away game or a tight game.

But not that hugely bothered that I won't

Yeah a pity really but I can't see him fitting into a high energy approach.

Ultimately I've been underwhelmed by him, just a bit meh really who's on the periphery far too frequently.

Pops up with a nice goal now and then but he'd be top of my list to move on this summer.

If we do have a serious interest in Bony...well you can see something happening there. Not a make weight or anything like that, those deals rarely happen. But it could facilitate the negotiation process to acquire Bony if they know there's an attractive deal on the table to acquire Sig.

Lack of athletic ability limits him as a player at the very top level. No lateral quickness, he looks like he is moving through humus, so weak a stiff breeze knocks him off the ball and always a danger to trip over his own feet. And for a 'playmaker' some of his passing is down right awful

So in short, I won't be crying into my Cheerios if he is sold
