Pato... yeah that really fits in with Poch's philosophy. Just his agent desperately trying to drum up interest.

Quite like to see us make a cheeky 15M bid for Berahino just to prove the point to Jeremy Peace that when a player wants so desperately to leave, it's better to sell him rather than be left with an unhappy, under performing player who's only going to depreciate in value.

He can, and he has, but he doesn't. Not currently. We already have Son and Njie, two wide forwards who can play up top in a pinch. What we need is a proper No. 9 to keep Kane on his toes and fill in for him in case of injury.

I'd much rather we bring in say, Slimani, who is big and physical and would suit Poch's pressing game perfectly than another WF like Pato.

Totally agree, Slimani would be an excellent choice. Solid all round CF who could provide real competition for HK. Would have Nabil to help setttle him into the squad.

Would Sporting do business in Jan?

There was a report in O Jogo recently that they'd be willing to sell for €20m (£14m). No idea how reliable that is but it'd be cracking business.

Right, the TR Forums are half open.

Threads can now be started in there providing they follow our guidelines as laid out in the 'Blogs & Sources' thread. After seeing some of the dross reproduced in here one or two of you are going to struggle getting your heads around that, but hey-ho.

LOCKED.
