WTF? Seriously, how dumb are you? I just TOLD you that I wasn't trying to find out information! Just READ it should not be that hard.

Ahh, so you've done a survey! Great. But maybe you should provide the fucking results before making such pathetically desperate and laughable statements. And what do you mean "after the fact?" What fact?

Just calm down. Clearly people do get annoyed about your posting style and inane questions. Just think next time is all I'm saying.

LOL, I can't see how it would annoy people, they don't have to respond to anything. How hard is it to scroll past a post? Clearly too hard for you, though I cannot see how.

Well as someone said above, it would have at least helped if you had said where you had read it. It could have been on the back of a match box for all we knew.

All I am saying is what others have said. You clog up a lot of this site with threads and posts that are completely unnecessary. I could scroll past but I am just telling you how others perceive you. Equally if you're not bothered by what I or others think, just scroll past and carry on.

...in your eyes. Of course you need to think about what you mean by "necessary" because when you think about it, none of what ANY of us do on here is "necessary." Necessary to what?

Ohh so you KNOW how other perceive me. I see. :ROFLMAO:

I think you're ignoring tha fact that some of these questions while slightly comical at times, do lead to some great discussions.

Perhaps but the incessant and repetitive nature of the questions does seem to clog up threads and become rather farcical, like this one for instance. It would at least help if you provided a link or source to where he read Sky could get rights for the World Cup.

Ah, exactly. You're perceiving how others perceive me. :ROFLMAO: I love it!

Well no, I'm reading their comments.

Can you just be a bit grown up about this and not so obtuse? I made an observation about the style and sheer number of your posts/threads, ignore it if you like but it's clearly not just what I think or perceive.

Mate, you have 13,052 posts.

No I mean number of you posts (and threads) asking these sorts of questions. As you can see from the word 'style'. If you had just made lots of posts, fine.

In any case, getting back on the topic it would have been better if you had said where you read that Sky could attain rights rather than just hysterically positing the incorrect notion that Sky could take the World Cup away from terrestrial TV. As others on this thread have said.

Yep, very true, I can't say you're not right there. I was INDEED dubbed to high heaven by a poorly worded wiki article. But like I said, nothing surprises me anymore, so I believed it could very much be the case and took the assumption directly to here... somewhat "hysterically" perhaps, I'm happy to admit. But I wasn't happy, as I'm sure you can appreciate.

Well fine, but I don't think that a wiki article something getting too upset about.

It wasn't the wiki article itself, it was what it led me to believe. Believe me, if it was true, I would be very 'upset' and with good reason.

Well it's not as you could have discovered for yourself.

Although... while Sky do not have the rights now, that's not to say one day they won't.
Big powerful Mr. Murdoch anyone?
This is what one person had to say:
"FIFA and UEFA the rights holders are happy enough to sell to Encrypted TV broadcasters. I think many in the UK worry that the Tories will bow to a Mr Murdoch and sell the Crown Jewels.
But, of course when Cricket left FTA TV who was running the show? Labour.
So could it happen? Yes, I think it will.
But, I think it might be a suicidal government."
