I picked this up via Newsnow as nothing appears on the OS (yet).

Adam Smith our young RB has been loaned to Bournemouth for a month as both their own RBs are injured. He will go straight into their squad for Saturday's game.

This is another of our youngsters I am hoping will make the grade with us. I've always been impressed with him on the few occasions I've seen him. In his style of play he reminds me a lot of Ray Evans (older fans will remember him) especially his forward runs and crossing.

So far, he has done well at his previous loan clubs and with a little more physical development could be Bale MkII.

He had a good debut a couple of seasons ago but like Phil Ifil, hasn't kicked on obviously, as in sit up and take notice of this lad.

Still, a month in frenetic League action should give him an incentive to have our scouts writing rave reports back to Harry.

Another who needs some games at a decent level. He is still young but given the likes of Walker and Naughton, nevermind Kaboul, Corluka, and Hutton are ahead of him I dont think he will ever make it.

As I recall this was a lad Ramos rated highly; be interesting to see if he makes the most of this opportunity.

I don't recall him ever having played for our senior team?

He came on against NEC Nijmegen in the UEFA Cup, don't think he's played any other games.

Hope he does well there.

Well, he's always got his institute to fall back on if football doesn't pan out.

I was very impressed with him in the U19 Semi Final against Arsenal 2 seasons ago, looked very confident on the ball and he defended well.
