Deserved win, bar this afternoon he was rock solid the whole tournament and no one could compete with that. Also talent-wise sporting justice really for him to get level with Hendry on 7 wins.

And with the reaction at the end think it can also be put to bed as to whether Ronnie actually cares or not.

He is definitely the greatest. I still think Selby will get the seven though thats not saying Ronnie wont get eight - all about the mentality of it all

Ive just read that he is doing an amazon documentary and has been mic'd up through this tournament - that will be great to watch

It must be a really weird feeling being the greatest human being who has ever been born in your own particular specialist field, knowing that no other person on Earth before you has the talent to do what you do.

Made up that he has won the 7th. Unbelievable player who just is a level above anyone else. He could just keep going to be honest if he has the appetite and win 2 or 3 more.

Always been a massive Ronnie fan and being a local boy even more so.

So pleased for him and I’ll forgive him for cutting me up in his Merc outside the Shell garage in Grange Hill a few years ago :D.

You can see how much it means to him as well ( despite him always trying to play it down).

Hope he goes on to get the 8th and I think he will if he keeps the hunger and focus. In reality, if he hadn’t suffered with so many issues off the table he’d have 10 world titles already.

Don’t know if anyone watched his interview afterwards on Eurosport, but he was in tears there as well when talking about what Trump said to him at the end there when they embraced.

Yeah he was very emotional. Didn't think he was gonna let Judd go lol.

Judd just hasn't scored consistently. Ronnie has been machine like and just picked the frames off one by one.

Not quite over, if Judd can come out firing tomorrow he could set a platform for a go at the final session like Williams did against him in the Semi. But right now looking like it's going to take a WWF-style intervention from Stephen Hendry wielding a steel chair to turn this one around.

Also shitty comment I know, but Murphy seems to put on a couple of stone every time they go back to the studio. Backstage buffet must be alright.
I kept singing 'Half man, Half machine' by GLC for last 2 days lol.

Forget F1, it's common knowledge snooker is the main sporting drain on the earth's oil resources 🤷

I love snooker, but I fear for the sport once the class of 92 buggers off. The new talent coming through doesn't excite me at all.

Sullivan and Williams could carry on for a long time and still be at the top of the game. I like Lisowski from the new crowd, but there are very few characters out there.

He is a good player, but my god is his safety poor. He needs to learn how to manage games better; he has everything else to succeed and start winning some tournaments.

Middle class twats with money and nothing better to do.
I have no problem with people demonstrating, world would be a worse place without them, but there's a right way of doing it and this sort of recent shit isn't it.

Football, F1, Horse racing, now snooker, I wonder if they'll ever try this at the boxing :cautious:
The F1 protesting is the worse of the bunch. Imagine if a driver hits one at high speed. It could potentially hurt a lot of people 🤦‍♂️

One look at what happened to a track marshall at the 1977 South African G.P will show you what can happen when exactly that occurred. I’ll never erase that from my memory as long as I live. These bastards should be shown the same video.
