Yeah it's the fans fault obviously. What a load of fucking shite.

You want to apportion blame. Look to the directors box.

4-3-3 at the weekend with our best fullbacks, two proper cb's and Erikson, Holtby, Lamela behind Soldado or Adebayor. That's what I want. Fuck the mickeymouse cup, it's a distraction anyway

easy for you to say now we are out of it.

we need to get back to winning things, and i for one would gratefully accept a winning day out at Wembley

Me neither in all truth, but I cannot accept formation/tactics was the reason we lost tonight.

Who knows what the result would have been with different tactics. Maybe your right, a high line with our current back four would probably have been suicidal (again).

I just felt the need to point out to the people who've been repeatedly heralding 4-4-2 'run about abit' football as some kind of long term solution, how wrong they are.

Nope I'm looking at our twatish fans. It doesn't matter who the hell is in charge of the team or club, there will always be people who take more delight in being negative than actually behaving appropriately.

There needs to be a big sea change and it needs to start a little closer to home.

I don't know, if you played a high line against the long ball wouldn't most of them run through to the keeper? Or at least keep the defensive panic a bit further away from the penalty area? Not that it matters now.

The 4-4-2 is not the problem but if we want to take the one positive from tonight forward, ade, then we will need to play some sort of formation with 2 strikers in It. Ade was our best player by a country mile tonight and needs to be playing.

I haven't got what I wanted...I want pochettino.

That's exactly the problem. Me me me. It's like watching a spoilt brat at Christmas throw their parents presents back in their face because it's not what they wanted.

...I mean Santa, Santa's presents. It is Santa that got it wrong Thinktank, apologies it was just a slip of the tongue.

Not unique to Spurs though. Every football club has their fair share.

Difficult to say, i suppose long ball West Ham pose a completely different threat to Liverpool. The odd flick on may have still found it's way through on a wet, windy evening. Like you said, pie in the sky now i suppose.

Formation discussions aside, does anyone know why Pavlyuchenko wasn't even on the bench this evening?

I hear this all the time but Im not in that situation. I can only comment on our situation and it stinks and it's holding the club back. Could you imagine the effect it would have if we all pulled in the same direction?

You know who you are:

You got everything you wanted: AVB gone, fast pace, open play, Adebayor in and two up front.

Are you happy NOW?

What next? Burn down the Lane? Sack all the players? Maybe next time you'll THINK before opening your mouths at least!

What a fucking nob.

I try not to post on this site but really cannot help it with some of the shit being posted!!!!!

The football we played was an absolute shambles. Let me remind you. 3-0 against West Ham, 5-0 against Liverpool, 6-0 against Man City. Struggled to wins against Fulham, Sunderland, Crystal Palace to name a few.

The football was shocking last year, only rescued by Bale.

We were going nowhere this season under AVB and things were getting worse. You sound like you would have been happy to let Rome burn.

Do you think that to play attacking football we have to play open football and a 4-4-2.

Change was needed before it was too late.
