My local club where I grew up. Will be absolutely devastated if we hire him. Talk about a kick while we're down ffs. It's one thing going straight back down to the conference, but to do it with that **** at the helm really takes the biscuit.
I give it till February before he calls the fan base racist and accuses the board of not backing him in the Jan Window

Takes over a club bottom of league 2, what could possibly go wrong

I predict great things

As much as a hate the guy, at least he’s taken a job within his capability rather than expecting a top job.

And good luck to Macc, for having the bravery (and desperation) to hire him. If anything it might draw some media attention but I do hope they show him the door after a run of 10 straight defeats.

Poor old Macclesfield players and fans.....just when you thought things couldn't get worse fate deals one final cruel blow....they don't deserve that arsehole no matter how bad they are playing. Let's hope it's short and sour and he slips back into the shadows where he belongs.

So we're all waiting for the moment he fucks off and joins their nearest rivals, Altrincham...

(I had to google that btw!)

If he hasn't been sacked by then Macclesfield play at Cheltenham Town on 26th January. I think I might have to go to that one. :sneaky:

They’ll lose ten games on the trot, he’ll blame the players and get sacked then blame the sacking on his skin colour and say racism is worse than ever before in the English game.

The mans a total ingrate. Shot to pieces

Macclesfield are still in the EFL Trophy, as is our U21 side. But it's regionalised so we'd both have to get through two more rounds to reach the Quater-Final before we could draw each other. In the last 32 we're away to Oxford, they're away to Newcastle U21.
