From Hertyid on COYS:

Ousmane Dembele - we think we are front of the queue. I know very little about him. I actually thought my guy was talking about Moussa 2 for the first 30 seconds.

Not possible, he has signed with Borrusia Dortmund.

Is the whole Paxton coming down or just a few blocks? If a few blocks is it known which ones? Just wondering if I will get moved that's all. I realise I could just wait until S/T renewal announcement but I am impatient

Different reports some saying north east corner some saying the whole stand. Guess we'll have to wait and see.

The possibility of the north east corner coming down early was discussed some time ago in the stadium thread to allow the new east stand to be completed. There was a diagram which overlayed the new stand over the existing north east corner and it seemed to make sense. I can't remember when it was, maybe 2 or 3 months ago, possibly more.

There was even markings in the stadium that supposedly marked which bit was to be knocked down. How true it is i don't know. But all fingers pointing to something happening.

I'm not sure why, but I have reservations about Clinton too.

I don't think he's a bad player. I just haven't seen anything that says to be he'll become a top, top player.

Hope I'm wrong.

I anticipate him being predominantly an impact sub next season. He wasn't cheap, so he must have impressed our scouts with more than just his pace.

Why is clinton being written off? He's barely played and even if he doesn't become a superstar it doesn't mean he won't be a useful member of the squad and ditto with son (who I rate very highly and I'm sure he'll be a real asset next season).

Wimmer is never going to be the next Baresi but has been superb this season.l Leicester have proved that you don't need superstars but a system and squad mentality that can do what's asked of them

Don't know about being written off but poch may think that he can upgrade. He showed with stambouli that he's not scared of shipping out players quickly if they don't fit his plans.

Talk about stop me in my tracks with the thread title, don't know why but assumed it was bad news after Monday and Alli getting suspended.

It's like when your boss comes over out of nowhere and says "Matt, have you got a minute...let's go to the meeting room". You think you're getting the sack but he just wants to know where you get your shirts from.

Your boss is weird.

I'm not really surprised if they are unconvinced with NJie. I know his season has been very disrupted and he hasn't played all that much but I never think you need long to know what a player is about and what he possesses and can/can't do. He looked like he had decent but not frightening pace, technically was no more than ok, and his reading of the game playing up top wasn't anything special. He did chase about and put in a shift, but he never really looked like scoring.

For someone who still cost a decent fee I haven't seen any 'raw ingredients' to be excited about going forward in the next couple of years. To be honest what we've seen so far I'd expect we'd get from a youth team striker... Raw, keen, chases about a bit up top, has a few fleeting moments etc etc.

Even with limited playing time I think he needs to show much more, and I hope he does. I'd also say that if he has been singled out then it's a bit harsh on him, given Son has been equally underwhelming at this point.

If the news about Ousmanne Dembele is true and does eventuate, I can understand the choice of Michy over Lazacatte. Dembele is similar to Lacazette, but younger and more raw. Hence not having 2 of the same type of wide forwards. Exciting times if (and a big if) we are near these kinds of players.

Was about to put some respeck on you for being the first to use that word on this forum....

Soz, kid.

It's not confirmed, or certain, but it is looking increasingly (or even very) likely that Ousmane Dembele will go to Dortmund. Of course I hope that doesn't happen. The most interesting thing about us being very interested is that it shows we may be looking at buying another Winger.

Good news on Wembley and Nike. The Paxton stuff is annoying, but if it has to be done, then so be it. I just really hope we continue to play CL games at WHL next season.
