What about Trippier and Davies ? Didn't rate them much for the first year/two or so they were with us. Mullered Son first two years he was here, now praising him most weeks. Thought 40m for Sanchez looked a bit nuts first 3/4 games, now loving the guy mostly, criticised Alli heavily first couple of months this year, praised him heavily last few games.

But don't let a good old "BC and his agendas" narrative get in the way of the truth whatever you do.

Aurier's delivery is not great a lot of the time. That is not bias, it's just a simple fact. I told everyone that before he arrived, my exact words were "not great but marginally better than Walker's on a good day". That is not bias, it's come from seeing loads of Aurier. And I mean loads.

Fair enough. Does seem to take you an inordinate amount of time to come round, though.

Tripps' delivery has been shit for ages now and hasn't been getting half as much out of his crossing as Aurier is.

I'm looking out for the positives and giving Serge his first season to improve where he needs to.

His early crossing has paid/is paying dividends.

I've been crying out for that for ages. Not sniffing at it. I appreciate him for it.

Or maybe it's fucking tayters out there and pissing with rain and they just don't fancy it?

Nah that’s not us anymore. Plus it was probably worse at Swansea and we did ok there. 90’s Spurs would’ve given up 10 minutes in.

Well, that was pile of utter wank.

Nothing that having an actual midfield and someone to link that midfield to the attack could fix.
Ridiculous. We don't need MFers at all. True midfield play is overrated. I know this because we are focusing our transfer efforts on a slightly more athletic tweener than Lamela. We just need more passion.;)

Need a fast and improved 15-20 mins.

If we don't see it, Poch MUST make changes.

We ought to have a "we all know sissoko is shit, get it out of your system" thread setup before each match. This way the match thread won't be a fucking deluge of sissoko out crap.

Long balls, sigh... if that’s our plan then we need Llorente on the pitch

Some talk around that the virus might have been squad wide and its only that Hugo and CE were the worst affected so couldn't play. Wouldn't be surprised if most of the team are under the weather, which would be a massive drain on energy and concentration

It was never an easy game to win today. I had a feeling we would struggle. Mainly because if we win we go fourth. When we need to win we rarely do.
Very high probability of a win, imo, if we send on Vic to stabilise mf and Lamela to fight and produce more in front of Serge.

Our game should click into place.

Our 'nose' has been out of joint so far.

I know there was some uncertainty as to whether it would occur but so everyone knows there were no changes at half. Excellent.

Sky don’t half talk some guff, if we want to break into the top 4? We’ve been there for the last few years!!
